Thoughts? He's going to Alabama. I like his mom though. LSU should give her a pair of free season tickets in my honest opinion. And yes, I am serious. 
Have you ever seen a kid's mom go against her own son's pick on national TV? She stood up against the crimson menace and still supported LSU after her own son committed to Alabama.

I realize that I'm contributing to this, but let's please stop giving that kid a platform. He's now activly trying to derail LSU's championship hopes. He plays for a team in our division, the same team that just beat us in the Championship game. He's gone, he's done. Stop promoting him.

This class turned south with the stunt on ESPN. since then, we've lost focus as a recruiting institution (Howard), went on wild goose chases (Edwards) and lost people we had in our hand (Kiel, Davis).
I got nothing but hate for a hometown kid who puts that kinda negative karma on our program.

This is ridiculous. He picked Bama because he felt that was the best decision for himself, regardless of specific reasons.

I'm dead serious. Most parents, if they are unhappy with their son's choice, would keep quiet and talk about the decision later. Off camera. In the privacy of their own home. When asked by the reporter, most parents would keep it real short and simple and say that they are proud, it's their son's decision, and I am happy either way. Same old b.s.
Collin's mom? Hell no. She spoke her mind on National TV right after he committed. She said LSU was the better choice, LSU is #1, Geaux Tigers, etc. And this is literally seconds afterher own son committed to Alabama.
If I was a TAF bigwig or a part of the LSU Athletic Department, you are getting a pair of season tickets in some damn good seats Mrs. Collins. I don't care if you use them, sell them, give them away, whatever....for standing up like that and still representing LSU, you are getting a free pair.
