Watched this young man play baseball a couple years ago and he was already 6' plus and well over 200lbs so I can believe he's as big as advertised and like someone said probably not done growing.
His build was similar to Trey who I went to school with and would have been a great tackle if he hadn't gotten hurt his freshman season at LSU. That pretty much ended his career. I think it was his knee or ankle? Not real sure what he injured but after he wasn't the same and didn't play much at LSU for what ever reason. The games he did play while full strength he was a good player. Haven't seen his son play football.
I don't think there's any way he will play MLB though. I think the hope will be that he grows another inch or two and play DE or maybe OLB in some jumbo packages. Either that or OL some place. Will probably play STs after a year RS and possibly play his 3rd/4th/5th years here if he develops. He's an athlete for his size. Ideally would be DE or OLB if he grows another inch or two bc I think he'll stay around 275 or 285. I don't think he'll lose much speed either. You never know how these kind of kids will grow. I knew a kid that was 5'11" 145 or 150 until after he graduated and a year or two later he's 6'9" 270. His dad was tall but he didn't grow until his 20's.

"Kid is 6’3” and may be closer to 250-260. I know he has posted times between 4.6 and 4.8 at camps."
Maybe grows into DE?

From a football point of view, there's not much I can say that would sound hopeful that he can drastically contribute to LSU's defense. I don't see 4.6 speed on the field in highlights. I think some weaknesses could be improved with coaching, but he lacks the instincts to play MLB in the SEC. If he can get quicker to the ball and improve his agility and get quicker from the snap, he may contribute at some point down the road, but right now he isn't LSU material, not to be a major factor. But he seems to be a high motor guy and has great character and these attribute are invaluable to a team. Obviously he has great pride in LSU and this can be infectious to other players. A great work ethic can motivate others to work harder.

Guess your guess not worth a damn. You've never seen him and don't know crap! Why clog up the board with your guesses

I think he'll get a small school to offer him. He appears to have some talent, but he also seems a little flat footed when he back pedals. I think he's headed definitely to the line and would make a great guard. He has that aggression and a strong kid like that can move people quickly. I wish the kid the best.
