I was telling a coach today at school that this guy reminds me so much of Corey Webster that its scary... He is the biggest sleeper of this class imo

The guy's got a great vertical leap. You just don't get to see it when he's playing QB.

hell. yea. That was the first i've seen of claiborne and i was impressed. first time i've clearly seen what scouts talk about with "smooth hips and acceleration" when scouting corners. Seems like a silky smooth athelete. So most people are thinking corner for this guy?

Has Rivals updated their ranking for him yet ? I felt sure he would be better than a two star guy.

80 is actually fairly high on ESPN too. The guy has great physical attributes and will be a big corner. Can't wait to see this guy come here.

The film isn't working for me!

I'm going to wait until someone brings up he doesn't have elite speed, despite how the defense was playing in that video and his ESPN evaluation.
He may not be a 4.3 guy but I could definitely see him running a 4.45-4.5 as his Scout/Rivals profile says. That is more than enough with a CB that is expected to be big.

He's a 4.4 kid that can cut without slowing down.

Does his running style remind anybody of Joe Mcknight? I know he's not quite as fast.

I went to his playoff game and met the kid...This kid is fast and tough. He will do whatever it takes wherever they put him. It would be interesting to see a wild Tiger set with him and RS or maybe trindon. HE plays QB at Fair Park. We would probably get a penalty for having enitrely too much speed in the backfield. Welcome to the Morris Claiborne bandwagon

Looks like he could convert to the cornerback position.. altho I'd love to see him running with the ball.

ESPN has him rated higher than:
Michael Brockers
Carneal Ainsworth
Chris Garrett
Kenny Bell
Dominique Allen
Lamin Barrow
Chris Faulk
Josh Williford
pretty high praise for the kid

I was thinking more like Pryor. Both guys look like they are barely running.
