Personally, if I am Bryce U I don’t try and make enemies with one of the richest and most powerful men in the world. (Ellison)

3 mil isn't a crazy high deal for a qb. It was crazy for a high school recruit. It's less than Mensah got at Duke, Beck got at Miami, Nuss got here.

huh? his whole offense is predicated on a QB that is a run threat

And Chambliss is not like any other QB he's had, hes way more athletic and is a better runner then passer

Bryce is more on par of what all of his other QBs were. Better passers then runners. Not too hard to understand

I don’t think he’s coming but if he did I would have zero concerns about fit. He has all of the physical tools and arm talent to do whatever would be asked IMO.

If we can get him for 2-3 million a year, I say make it happen.

And where will all of this money come from. Look guys, I have a kid at LSU, and I love LSU Athletics (season ticket holder who goes to games). However, at some point all this booster money should be taxed just a small percentage to put towards regular student (non-athletic) scholarships, and other things at the university. Go ahead and downvote away but this is where I stand.

He’s very similar to Dart who was arguably Lanes best QB.

no one gives a frick where you stand.

why would booster bucks specifically earmarked for football be directed to academic scholarships? you'd quickly lose your football boosters while getting $0 extra for academics.

You're going to turn down the #1 overall player from last year's class because he did something that everyone here would have done?

No, LSU should turn down the #1 player from last year b/c they can find another QB in the portal that will likely be just as good. Bryce had his chance to come to LSU but chose money and went to Michigan. What makes you think he wouldn't do that again......plus Bryce's 2,200 yards, 9 TD's to 6 INT's isn't worth the price he and his agent will be asking for.

There's prolly 10 other QB's I'd go after before Bryce.......

Read Melania Trumps Lips….

Underwood wants too much money
so no reason to even start considering if he meshes with Lanes System !!!

The money situation he wants… kills everything before it even gets started !!

Bryce was the highest paid recruit coming out 9f high school. Seems like that is crazy high.

Not sure if 3m is high for a transfer, but then again, every single QB transferring and wanting any sort of relative $$$ will have the stats to back it up... not 61% completion, 1900 yards, 9 td to 6 int.

Matter of fact, I suspect he'll have the worst stats of any QB transferring. Thats gonna be hard to demand more than hes making now.

Tons of qbs that have barely played a snap are transferring.

I'm glad you have such strong opinions of what other people should do with their money...

LSU has a foundation for this reason. Furthermore we have one of the few athletic departments that actually gives back cash to the university already

You should be down voted because it's a stupid stance. If somebody wants to donate money you let them donate it for they cause they choose it to go to. Thinking you should take money from somebody and give it to something they didn't want it used for is more than stupid actually.

Just throwing this in the discussion -- 2025 Chambliss comp% .655, Nussmeier .674.
