I'd rather take a kid that worked to get to LSU and honor my word than take someone who is going to give LSU ultimatums on who LSU can & cannot sign ( ie. its me or him ). Very disappointed in Miles. We need a 'shame' emoticon.

I have trouble accepting the suggestion that Mr. Randle and Coach Miles BOTH were in agreement to act out a charade to protect Benton.
Reuben's brother(assuming DMitch is his bro) says there is more to the story. Someone has some splainin to do. For all concerned(not just the involved parties), this should be done ASAP. Rumors are a cancer that can leave wounds that never heal.

I don't what actually went down but I have a hard time thinking RR or his father is afraid of competing with DB. More likely, the father had some reason not to like DB and didn't want him around his son. If that is the case we will never hear (and shouldn't hear) the details. If RR's dad shared some personal information about DB with Miles, Miles confronted DB and didn't like DB's answer then I support Miles for yanking the offer. Better to handle the situation now then later.
If what I speculate is NOT the case then I agree that Miles acted inappropriately.

benton is better but i would rather have randle for 4 yrs then take a chance on benton qualifying and actually staying.
