To clarify, fans were not hard on Saban when he left for the NFL Miami Dolphins, but were outraged that he went to coach Alabama.

That's called hypocrisy. Ole Miss has to enter Umanmielen into the portal if he requests it or they will be in violation with the NCAA. His buyout is only $300,000. If you aren't familiar with buyouts of NIL deals, you should be. Lane bought out an NIL deal last year for someone that transferred there last year.
