but on Tebow's second INT, OU's goal line offensive playcalling was pathetic

well they dont even get down there unless the refs allow the entire o line to make tackles on the guy they're blocking to clear 10 foot holes for Brown

I love when people say the losing team was better

Maybe 9 out of 10, but not that day.

Urban is arrogant, thus the smirk is why many don't like him..

Yeah, why wouldn't somebody want to play for the gators?

As if, it's the best fit for everyone, because he is the coach

whats floridas backup like?

They expected it to be Cameron Newton who is a clone of Tebow but he's gone. Brantley is anything but a dual-threat guy so their offense will look way different once Tebow + Harvin leave. Debose can take Harvin's spot but Florida will be passing a lot more with Brantley.

LSU and USC next year! Book it

Crazier things have happened. Few teams have recruited better over the last couple of years. We were just a short distance away in 05 and 06, and go there last year. USC always seems one small step short. 2009 could be the year. (Technically it will be 2010, but I won't quibble.)

I don't think they are going to run up the middle with Brantley

He isn't as big and strong like Tebow is.

If I was a recruit, I would look and see who gives me the best chance at the NFL as well, and running in a system as a RB doesn't always do that. Offensive lineman who don't block the same because their QB is in shotgun. WR's who don't run good routes but just run as fast as they can....a few of the things that UF doesn't develop as well as other schools do IMO

You really make the good LSU fans look really dumb. Just look at what you said about taking Tebow and Harvin away from the Gators. OF COURSE THEY WOULDNT BE AS GOOD, THATS OUR TWO BEST PLAYERS, SO URBAN PUTS THE BALL IN THERE HANDS.

Oklahoma had it in the bag? They never had the lead in the game!

I hate CUM's recruiting tactics. How many stories are out there where he lies to these kids?

Wow, next time you make a comment like this, actually have something to back it up. Brantley is the fastest quarterback on the Gators, he just doesnt have the experience. When Tebow comes back next year, he will have another year to mentor Brantley. Brantley will start his Junior year for the Gators. Brantley is a very accurate quarterback also, and probably is the best projected for the NFL on the depth chart.

LOL @ FASTEST QB like it means something, he's slow. He ran a 4.64 back in high school @ 190 lbs which is nothing to write home about and IS pro-style QB, not a dual-threat.

If you think you'll run the same type of offense with Brantley as you do with Tebow you're just fricking stupid. Brantley is nothing like Tebow.

He was in high school two years ago. He's been trying to get faster in those two years and it has payed off.

I didnt say anything about Brantley being Tebow, because Brantley is more accurate and faster than Tebow. Tebow just has better leadership skills and has more experience.

Sorry but I don't think Brantley can take all the hits Tebow had taken at QB.

After his senior season Tebow could VERY likely be the most decorated and celebrated college football player in history. For Florida not to have a HUGE dropoff that Brantly kid better be the next Dan Marino.

I DIDNT SAY HE COULD. All I said was that he is a better passer and he is faster then Tebow.

So if he's obviously not a better runner than Tebow, why does his speed matter?
