so do you honestly beleive were not going to be able to field a team next year? do you think we wont get a few qbs?
I can promise you that there are kids in the portal just praying that we dont get Leavitt so that we can make a strong offer . Kids want to play qb for kiffin. we literally missed on one qb that we evaluated to be a starter.
youre not going to hear anything about a qb signing until Leavitt makes his decision. I believe theres players ,like the Elon qb, that are waiting to see if we get leavitt before making a decision on where they will play.
all of our targets are still there besides sorsby.

all you have to do is read the tea leaves , lane isnt panicking hes taking his time and thats probably because hes already got a backup plan thats waiting to see if we get our top target or not.
im glad you aren't the fricking gm or coach. you would have signed three juco qbs a few hours after sorsby signed with tech .i can hear you now ,well hey,at least we have qbs on the roster now, even if they wont win us any games .

hell,Miami has to find a qb for next year and they're still playing. you know that there will be a few qbs from the final 4 teams entering the portal by monday.
thats another thing . if we strike out on everyone were bringing in for visits then we can probably start bringing in guys that were recruited by lane and our coaches. im talking abouy kids that havent even taken a snap since high school.
that would be worst case scenario, but i would feel confident in lane producing good results with a qb that was a high 4 or a 5 star but hasn't played yet.
like the kid from usc.
I think were in good shape at wr and dline. it would have to be a big time player to get paid at those positions by us at the moment.
I think were building depth through the portal . guys that have 2 or more years remaining.

After seeing Chambliss and sure he might've been a big gamble for Kiffin, I'm fine with whoever ends up being at LSU at the QB position. I honestly care more about the big uglies in front of him.
