Speaking of talented kids with character issues that the Eagles gave a chance to, DeAndre Brown was an UDFA they cut after a couple of days.

Also, TDawg informed me it will be a couple more hours before he's able to pick, so if any of you are hanging around hoping to sneak a pick in in the next 30 minutes or so, it could be a while longer.

Gotcha bro.

You & I have quite some time before our next picks.
I'll be just sitting here observing for the time being.

ETA: Dan, you been in Chicago for a long time?

I know, it's the lone draw back from being at the top of the draft.

Ah, I'm thinking about moving up there for graduate school, or afterwards. I've been going there for the past couple summers, I love that city. The Air & Boat show, catching a game at Wrigley(even though I'm a Yankees fan), eating at the Chicago Chop House...probably the greatest American city in the summer time.

What area in Chicago you figure is the best for a college aged kid to live in?
ETA: Not to get this thread too far off track, just curious.

Depends on where you go to school and your budget, honestly.

I live in Lincoln Park, which is probably a tad on the high side on the midrange prices. Old Town is awesome (where I used to live). Wicker Park, Lakeview, are more affordable, "younger" areas. Wrigleyville is okay, but I imagine it'd be like owning an apartment on Bourbon.

The West Loop is growing a lot, but it's still a little barren. In 5-10 years I think it will be THE place to live in Chicago.

OBUDan lives in a nice area of town. I'm right outside of Old Town.

I've been here a little more than 4 years.

I love it here.

I've even been fortunate enough to become good friends with OBUDan, with or without the much balleyhooed Tiger Rant screenshots!

I'd like to get a place pretty nice. Though I understand the $1600 for a 2-bedroom that I pay in BR, won't get me the same in Chicago.
I'll be going out there this summer, I try to make it up there as much as I can.
I'll def have to look into the West Loop more.

Yeah..Cecil...we can have an RMD reunion at a bar around here.

Me and OBU have gotten pretty sloshed a few times chilling at the bars.

With the 29th pick in the 2012 RMD, GCB selects WR Nelson Agholor.

6'1
180 pounds
4.5 40 yard dash

This USC commit has some of the most impressive film of any member of the 2012 class. He catches the ball away from his body and has a knack for making big plays on offense as well as special teams. Like current Trojan Robert Woods, he plays much larger than his 6'1/180 pound frame suggests. I was so impressed by his film that I strongly considered taking him over Yeldon in round one.

I was thinking about taking him, that way I would have Woods for one more year, and then Agholor for the rest of his career. For some reason, I have a problem with taking rbs or wrs early in this mock draft. Mainly because I feel that there is a ton of talent out there to miss on some of there great defensive guys. The only reason I took Woods two years ago was because I he was compared to Charles Woodson, so I thought he would be lined up at CB.

I should have learned my lesson from last year to take the best player possible in the early rounds. I loved Watkins but had my eye on a couple of late rounder guys so I passed.
