For everyone's humor, check out my 2010 squad:
1) Shon Coleman - This was just a bad break. Got cancer. Probably will never play again. Last updates I saw were that he was set to join the team, but he's not on the roster. Hope he's in good health.
2) Markeith Ambles - left USC. He was trouble to begin with but who knows where he'll wind up.
3) Adrian Hubbard - Still at Bama, should start this year.
4) Demar Dorsey - Never qualified. He's at Grand Rapids CC. I really hope he turns it around, because he's an awesome player.
5) Andrew Hendrix - You may also recognize him as "One of the ND QBs who will likely lose his job to Gunner Kiel this year."
6) Demetrius Wright - Backup safety for USC. At least he's on the roster!
7) Christian Bryant - Starting safety for Ohio State. Woo hoo, my best pick!
8) Jordon James - Buried on the depth chart of an offense that ranked 72nd in total yards and 88th in scoring the nation last year.
9) Dakota Royer - not even on the depth chart for Penn State.
10) Andrew Rodriguez - Nebraska starting LG. Woo hoo!
11) Evan Hailes - Not even on the depth chart for Penn State.
12) Jalen Fields - didn't qualify, went to military academcy, now signed with ULL.
13) Antonio Goodwin - arrested, booted from Auburn.
14) Corey Cooper - Still on the team at Nebraska... looks like a backup.
15) Travon Van - backup RB at Marshall after not qualifying for UF.
16) Darryl Baldwin - moved to DT at OSU. Backup.
17) Christian Pace - one story says he quit football for medical reasons, another that he just left Michigan.
18) Chris Jones (enfuego pick) - transferred from Texas, looks like TCU.
19) Clarence Jackson - transferred to Jacksonville State.
20) Telvin Smith (enfuego pick) - splitting MLB time at FSU.
21) Chase Hughes - 3rd string C at Ole Miss.
22) Dan Foose - 3rd string at LT and LG, but fortunately that's behind 2 seniors. Could start this year.
23) Jatashun Beachum - left Arkansas, no idea where he wound up.
24) Kyle Baublitz - back up DE at PSU, but he only made 1 tackle all year. Doesn't seem to jive.
Bolded names are still on their original teams in any capacity. The rest are either out of football, or at a different school.

Solid pick. Was thinking about him but they had a solid LB haul last year and he may have trouble finding playing time.
Posted on 2/11/12 at 2:29 pm to JG77056
They had three top 5-10 linebackers in last year's class - he'll be a great player, but I don't know if he starts any time the next 3 years.

Give me Kendall Sanders, ATH, 6'1, 175 lbs, Texas
Very versatile guy. Not sure what side of the ball he ends up on. Great height for a corner, but good with the ball in his hands as well.

GOD DAMN THAT IS BAD!!
If it makes you feel any better, my entire Oline from that year should be starting this upcoming year. However, one got moved to DT. Two started almost the whole season as true froshes.
Sorry, just being a dick.

He played corner for the all-star game, and that is where I think he should end up at. However, Mack said this:
quote:
Kendall Sanders: You can check this, but I was told he was the most valuable player in basketball and football in their division. I have never heard that before. He will play wide receiver for us, from Athens. He grew up, again, being a Texas fan. He played defensive back in the USA All-American game. He had two interceptions and was the most valuable player. He texted me right after the game and asked me "Can I still play offense?" And I said, "Yes, you can." We need more depth at receiver, and that is where he and Marcus [Johnson] and Cayleb [Jones] will play and Daje [Johnson] will have some of both. Very athletic. Great basketball player.
What the hell do I know?

Man, I remember being so pissed off when you took Hailes a few picks ahead of me. I will post my team later for grins. I had a few good ones in there I think.

WOOOOOHOOOOOOO! In my second year its nice to be able to grab the best talent available to add to the previous year's team. Team jg77056 is more than happy to select Thomas Johnson, WR A&M. Sumlin's pass happy offense should lead to plenty of catches and early PT, and he's electric with the ball in his hands.

It really is awful. I made up for it last year, with a ton of guys that either are already playing or have showed actual potential to play.
My 2010 squad is essentially like 3 or 4 starters, 3 or 4 career backups and a bunch of washouts. Ouch!

Tremendous pick, IMO. This kid is going to be really, really good. I had him as my top WR left.

But outside, say, the top 5-7 RBs, it's kinda weak
Yeah, I went RB as early as I could because I didn't like anyone past Pender.
And I wouldn't worry too much about 2010. I had a lot of hits and misses. Hell, my first pick was Seastruck! But... I learned a lot from that draft and last year, and I think it's made me realize things about recruiting and scouting services. That's why I really like all this and when you get the background info on these kids instead of just ESPN or Maxpreps blurbs.

WR-Shaq Roland
Roland's Scout Evaluation:
Roland is one of the top athletes in the South. He's special and he could play wideout or safety on the next level. As a receiver, he has great body control and can go up and get a ball anywhere on the field. He has long arms, strong hands, and he is someone that can stretch the field. He has moved around a lot and played multiple positions, so he needs to work on route running and getting off jams at the line. - Regional Analyst Chad Simmons

Pasty's 2010 Roster - Better than I thought.
Keenan Allen, WR, Cal – All PAC-12 First team, 98 catches, 1,343 yds, 6TD as True Soph. (STUD)
Andrew Norwell, OT, Ohio St – Starting Left Tackle as True Soph
Ladarius Owens, LB, Auburn – Played in 6 games as RSF, so far a bust
Brandon Willis, DE, UCLA – Transferred from NC after Spring 2010. Sat out 2011 and has 3 yrs to play left.
Demarco Cobbs, S, Texas – Moved to LB, Special teamer as frosh, missed first 6 games of 2011 with broken arm. Should play next year, but not much impact so far.
Mike Thornton, DT, Georgia – 3rd string NT as RSF, Played in 7 games
Ethan Grant, RB, TCU, Not on 2 deep as RSF
Nickell Robey CB, USC, All Pac-12 First team as Soph after being named Frosh All-American, Really nice cover guy
Dominic Espinoza, C, Texas, Started every game as RSF
Marcus Lucas, WR, Missouri, Starter,23 catches, 414 yds, 5TD as true SOPH , Nice, big target for the next few years at Missouri.
David Wilkerson, LB, Cal, Starter as RSF
Bryan Murphy, DE/LB, Broke leg as frosh, and then had academic trouble last year. Not looking too good.
Jeff Luc, LB, 15 tackles in 11 games, expected to start next year. Disappointing so far. I gave up Max Bullough for him in Enfuego Round.

Chris Young, S, Went JUCO, Signed with Arizona State in Class of 2012
OJ Ross, WR, Purdue, Starter at WR/KR
Terrance Broadway, QB, UL-L, Transferred from Houston, 3 yrs remaining
Jake Alexander, OL, RSF, Part time starter at Center and both Guards
Ricardo Allen, CB, Purdue, 2-year Starter, Freshman All American, My best value pick by far.
KP Parks, RB, Virginia, Starter as RSF, 152 Carries, 709 yds, 9TD.....better than that other guy that UVA signed that OBUDan took
Laurence Gibson, OT, Virginia Tech, Played some as a RSF. Promising player though.
Nic Jacobs, TE, LSU, We all know about him. Good potential. We will see.
Nicholas Parker, RB, Not on 2 deep after RSF, No carries yet with 3 yrs to play

I don't think he is coming to TCU. I know he wants to but he had his chance the first time around and made the mistake of choosing Texas. I could be mistaken but I think his window of opportunity has now passed. It is a shame because I have no doubt he would have done better at TCU than UT.

Ah, damn. I read a small blurb saying he was heading there, must've just been speculation.
