That's a great Pinella quote.

I remember a lot of people were really high on Deon Rogers, but he's never really made an impact.
Yeah, he's behind Preston Brown on the two deep. Daniel Brown is the other starter and Keith Brown should have a shot at playing WLB this year.
Maybe Charlie Strong was tired of learning names!!!

Damn! I almost picked him, but LSU took so many LBers this year, I went with Brown at UL instead. UL only took two All American linebackers.
Good pick up though.

What is the "en fuego" pick?
First ever RMD, a poster named EnFuego participated, bailed after like 5 rounds, as well as 4-5 other guys, somehow it picked up the name "Enfuegoed", because we threw all those guys into a pool and just did another side draft where you could toss back a player and pickup one of them, if you chose.

Davonte Neal, Athlete, Undecided. Choosing between Arizona, Notre Dame, Arkansas and North Carolina on the 21st. 8th rated player overall by ESPN.

And there goes my guy.
Steal of the draft, IMO. This kid has ridiculous talent. I kinda wish I had taken him over Fuller.

Had a feeling a few people with picks coming up had their eyes on him and Garnett. Not sure if I've seen a guy rated so high in one service, and quite a bit lower in a few others. Agreed on the ridiculous talent. Everything I've heard is that he's headed to Arizona to play for Rich Rodriguez.

That's a perfect fit for him.

OT Max Turek (USC)
The prototype offensive tackle. Big (6'5, 290 pound) and physical. Could break the two deep at USC as early as this season. Gets to the second level and punishes defenders in his way.

Son of a bitch. Back to back. That kid is a monster.

Well, some people may think its a reach, but I don't know if he gets back to me in the next round and I really wanted him, so...
With my fourth pick Suntiger selects, Corey Thompson, Saftey for LSU.
Ht: 6'2"
Wt: 210 lbs
40: 4.56 secs
Shuttle: 4.22
Vertical: 36 inches
Under Cooper, Thompson will be a cross between Eric Reid and LaRon Landry. He's not afraid to come into the box and his ball skills are pretty good as well. He's a smart kid that wants to go into Engineering. He'll be an All-SEC and an All-Academic performer and I could see him being the leader of the defense in three years. Also, as a certain recruit from Louisiana will learn soon, Thompson will see playing time early due to the lack of real depth at the Safety spot.

Nice Pick 24/7 was really high on him
I think he'll be a great safety at LSU. Certainly has the pedigree, and physical attributes.

I will select Kwontie Moore ILB Virginia

With my 4th Pick of the 2012 TDRBMD, I select
Cyler Miles, QB, Washington
I came away very impressed with Miles after the Army AA bowl game. I felt like he was the best QB on the field that day.
I think he will flourish under Steve Sarkisian in that Huskie offense.

He wasn't. I had made an effort this year to get a safety early. When I didn't get one of the top picks, (to get Shaq or Landon), I decided to go after Thompson. I was going to select him this round. FML / Back to the drawing Board

I really like this kid, but I had a hard time seeing where he plays. He could definitely be a Mike LB but his lower body looks a little too big. Then I could see him playing at DE but I think he is too short and small for that. Really athletic kid though. If he gets put at the right position, this turns into a really good pick.
