I have to agree. With the right athletes, that offense is incredibly hard to stop. I remember when NEB played Florida that year. Florida had all kinds of athletes, but it was just embarassing. I think it was like 62-17 Huskers,or something to that effect.

I remember thinking Florida was one of the best college teams I'd seen in a long while before that game.
People talk about how athletic LSU's defense is. The beauty of the GT offense is that it can use athleticism against you. Using athletic ability usually causes overpursuit. Stopping this defense is all about discipline. Our D will have to do a 180 in this aspect.

This board is over the top in its criticism. IMO, it's not reflective of the fanbase as a whole.

Dmitch, the one thing that LSU can offer that the other schools can't is that he would be an idol especially locally in NELA. If you don't believe me ask Brady James, Eric Edwards, Jack Hunt, Rob Sale, Tommy Banks, etc.
I watched RR dismantle a good Neville team this year. He's a superstar where ever he decides to go. Tell your momma everybody was dissapointed when Strop lost even if we didn't attend school there. We wanted them to get that other ring sencondary of what happened to the city of Strop. By the way, most of us that feel that way wear purple and gold on Saturdays in the fall.
