Have to disagree with your assessment. He can be a good kid or a thug but not both. He was one and acted like the other, then finally showed who he really is. Good luck to him and I hope he realizes both his mistake and his potential to do great.

The Cal Bears staff recruited him hard before his commitment, so the relationship is already there.
You realize they had a coaching change huh

Good riddance! Good luck though!

Yes, we did. The other running back was just named to The Freshman All-American Team.
James Simon was not on any freshman AA team

He's going to bring the ghetto with him.
Also, I think the judicial system in Baton Rouge might have something to say about him leaving the state.

I will say he is a good kid and was raised well, but was hanging out with the wrong people at the time.
This is the same bullshite said every single time some ghetto shite happens. It's never his fault, it's always that he was with "bad people." How is that ALWAYS the case? It's ALWAYS the fault of some mystery bad group and never the retard himself?

one mistake.
People keep repeating this when the more accurate response is probably "The one mistake he was caught making".
I have no idea which is true and don't care. I have no ill will towards him and hope he straightens out but I don't want him anywhere near LSU/

His "one mistake" endangered every person on LSU's campus. Period.
Make all of the excuses you want but that is the one undeniable fact.
And for that, he should never be part of LSU again. He can have his next chance somewhere else, hopefully away from his felon friends.

You’re actually wrong. Freshmen weren’t living on campus at the time. Just people in Nicholson Gateway with 12 month leases.
And the guns weren’t his. They were the kids that were staying in his dorm. Doesn’t make it right at all. That’s not what I’m trying to say.
I’m sure Kiffin will be deciding if he’ll be worth to keep. We are down to 2 RBs and I’m not sure on the transfer portal.

No, I'm not wrong. He let people he knew were wanted for murder hide in his apt. with weapons and that did indeed endanger everyone in the area.
Do you not understand what a murderer is?
You are too emotional or too stupid to even take seriously.
You even stated " But he still has that side of him with the thug life style"
How is the ever-loving frick is that a "good boy" that made "one mistake"?
He is by your own words a thug and if the allegations are true needs to serve time. If he manages to avoid serving time, then he needs to go far away so the next time he makes "one mistake" it won't affect anyone in Louisiana.

quote:Yeah I mean that post implies that he thinks he was wronged by LSU.
“Shiddddd me too” tells me all I need to know.
I almost always give guys the benifit of the doubt from the jump, but this kid literally harbored wanted fugatives who were on the run after murdering someone. They had guns in his on campus dorm
A regular, non-athlete student is expelled if that happens. Stop acting like LSU somehow did bad by you, Jayden.
