i'm still going with Goodman to UCLA (with Arizona St. as a backup plan, if things fall through) and Willis to LSU...

the more USC gets other DBs though, the better it is for LSU.....

Cutrer said in a video interview back in the spring that he is a corner and sees himself as a corner. Just sayin

This weekend is about to become more telling for Willis.

Word is that 'SC got the pledge from DE Jason Hatcher out of KY, and he will announce next Friday.

If that is the case-- and it seems to be from my sources-- then there is one spot left.

Let the mad scramble begin!

With all the DB's we're taking, he'd better hurry up with us, too.

Yes. Slow playing seems to not work as well with top programs anymore.

I am hearing the same stuff. Also hearing that SC commit Chris Hawkins has one eye cast on Eugene, and that his feet may not be firmly planted in Trojan Land.

Could Oregon be the destination for the Hawkins/Goodman/Willis triumvirate?

Hawkins is the only one Oregon has a realistic shot of landing... I"d say Willis would be next on the list, but they are down on his list, so in essence, he's probably not very likely to end up in green and whatever other color Oregon wears nowadays....

The way it looks to me at this point: Goodman, ucla.
Hawkins, ORE and Willis, USC.

wishful thinking, huh?

not saying there's no chance, but just like LSU, they just don't have the numbers this year.... it's all good though.... that class that USC has right now is unreal.... LSU fans get all excited about their/our class, but damn..... every single player is at least a 4 star rated player by Rivals, the consensus "best" recruiting service....

we'll see, but in the end, i think USC just can't hold out long enough.... too many other guys want in, and for USC fans, you have to look at that as a GREAT thing...

Not complaining in the least.

The silver lining for SC if Hawkins breaks his commitment and goes to Oregon, is that it opens another spot up (back to three again.)

As for Priest the Beast, even with only 2 spots left I think if a dude like that wants in, you find a way to let him in. As you know, he is that good.

Either way, if we can't get Willis I would rather y'all get him than ucla or Oregon.

yeah, no shite.... bet you wouldn't even feel bad about it either, considering the other two are in the same conference as USC....

What a waste of talent. If you're going to be in L.A., go to the football school...every time I walk on the UCLA campus, buildings are Wooden this and Wooden that...and in the bookstore, a video of UCLA's Basketball Dynasty plays every day, all day long on a constant loop as you enter the student union.

Every time a kid picks UCLA over SC - you get the feeling they don't want the limelight and lack confidence.

Is USC in the running for any big-time d-linemen?

Seems like more of a need than DB for the Trojans.
