How people don’t understand this by now kills me. PTI isn’t interesting if they just both agree with each other. They’re making content and the morons here get angry and keep watching.

Then they need to mix it up. Having the same people present certain sides gets predictable and turns off viewers in many cases. I don’t watch the shite for that reason. I already know Davis is gonna cry about anything positive for LSU

Yea but Reece and Herbie said their feelings are hurt.

Just tell me you don’t know how TV, editors and ratings work. Conspiracy idiot.

Herbstreit was not crying , nor is he anti-LSU in any way.

Saban still left for another team after repeatedly saying he wasn’t. He was truly conflicted as Lane was. So he should understand more than any one.

Rece and Pat look like they want to cry. Pat trying to be all passive aggressive to Saban. Stfu with your ripped jeans

I would watch Gameday again if Pat weren't on there. I can't stand him.

Saban said that he knew it was a poor decision to leave, but that he did it anyway. He also said that he regretted that decision. He said that his goal was to be the next Bear Bryant, not the next Vince Lombardi. He knew that the Miami move didn’t jive with his personal goals.

I would assume in their conversations, that he told Lane to not make that same mistake. I would gather that Lane, after that conversation, realized that LSU gave him the best pathway to meet his personal goals.

I only hope that his goal is to outperform Nick Saban in terms of National Championships won.

A look back at Rece hearing that Lane is a Tiger:

When you really think about it they are bitching about a man choosing an employer partially base on resources.

They are hypocritical in that they would leave local or smaller market and expand themselves on espn. The peak of sports media. In a way its very similar. Desmond ain't working for Jefferson pilot sports if it was an option.

Desmond, like Rece and Mac, are hypocritical bitches.

Why did Desmond leave the Green Bay Packers for the Oakland Raiders?

Why did he choose Michigan over Ohio State (as a native of Ohio)?

Why did he choose St. Joseph over other schools (and it was HIS choice according to his dad)?

quote:

He picked St. Joseph’s High School when he saw the basketball team wearing fancy blazers before a game. “When I saw those blazers, I knew that’s where I wanted to go,” he said.

I've been over it, I love the guy again now that he's retired. I was just pointing out that all programs get screwed over once in a while, no one was feeling sorry for LSU back then, no point in feeling sorry for Ole Miss now. It's just business.

Plus, 7-28 in the SECCG is nice.

Yep Rece Davis has turned into a huge bitch. Bring back Chris Fowler.

Rece Davis has always been this way. He once talked about how Tiger Stadium is not that hard of a place to play.

He also once talked down to LSU when we were considering canning Les Miles. He said “Why fire Les? Who do you think you can realistically get to replace him? You’re not a blue blood.”

Screw him

Right.. It used to bother me some, but I quit watching ESPN many years ago. I only tune in for games when I have to.

That was a little uncomfortable to watch. You could tell Saban was getting frustrated. I was thinking he might quit the show after that crap. Pat had no idea what he was talking about and it was frustrating him.

There is a difference between having a reliable year in-year out resource that you have in LA vs having to hit the portal jackpot every year which is required at Ole Miss.

You need to recruit some positions out of state. I don’t think Louisiana had a QB drafted in the NFL in over a decade. The NFL has drafted an average of 12 LA high school players per year in the last decade. Of those, about 7.5 per year were rated 4 or 5 star. No QBs and very few OL. OL averages 1.5 per until 2025 which had 5 from Kelly’s team. DL averages 2.5 per year. Besides QB, DL, and OL, LSU averages 8 NFL draft picks per year. We need to recruit out of state for the trenches.

Also, of the 12 LA kids getting drafted per year, 8 on average attended LSU
