Yeah, I don't understand how anyone can assume 2 years if a guy is eligible to go pro after one. I would still take 1 year of Chambliss over any potential 2 years of anybody else, but that doesn't appear to be an option. Leavitt would be a great get. I just don't expect 2 years.

Most QBs in the portal are probably one year rentals. There will be exceptions. While you have the one year rental, just recruit a good one out of highschool and if he pans out, then commit resources there for 3 years. I would think that is the best strategy.

I guess what I’m saying is the main concern with Leavitt is health & whether he is cleared to play if he will be 100%.
If you’re expecting him to declare for the draft, that means we will have lucked out on that front.

I can't think of a more useless set of media in a big university outside LSU. None of them ever have enough inside information. Moscona obviously knows people around LSU like boosters but his info is always second hand to the point he's regularly wrong and has to change it.

beauchristopher: many QB’s will make more with college NiL than an NFL contract. I don’t agree or support and Chambliss could prove this point if he returns to OM.
