What I still don't understand is how you thought Tigerdroppings would get Quad an offer. Would love to know your thinking on that. No one on here is in or part of the Recruiting Dept.

All good Coach. I will try to go watch Quad play here in the Atl.

Lifelong means your whole life. Here is a period of your life where you are most definitely not an LSU fan. So maybe say “off an on”
That's nonsense, nothing he said is anti LSU as he didn't say he hoped LSU would lose, just implied he expected them to lose. That doesn't make him a on and off fan. He also said he would watch and enjoy a kid he was closely associated with play , win and be drafted while playing elsewhere because LSU failed to offer him. Also not an on and off fan, just a normal person.
If we looked at your older posts, would we find some critical of some LSU decisions? Does that make you an on and off fan?
Cut the guy some slack, he came on here and owned his mistake like a man.

He literally did say this lol. It's hilarious how everyone is right back to eating out of his hand after he spent months trying to con his way into an offer for his kid and then freaked the frick out and made a fool of himself when it didn't work and people realized he was full of shite.
Do you guys not remember when he tried leveraging that other kid to get an offer for Quad? He literally said "they want to play together and quad has zero interest in bama, but WILL come to lsu. If he comes to LSU, the other kid will follow." Then a very short period of time later, Quad was quoted as saying that alabama was his top choice (after saban gave him a fake non-committable offer). Dude was straight up bullshitting all along. Then everyone realized he was bullshitting and he went nuts talking about how LSU (his supposed lifelong favorite team) was trash and would be going 6-6 and how he couldn't wait for Quad to kick our asses.
The only reason he's apologizing is because people started bringing up that whole saga again and he doesn't like the reputation he earned as a liar and a handler.
Also, he says the only thing he did wrong/is embarrassed about is the fact that he claimed his cousin posted his crazy rant. That's not even a real apology lol. He certainly did not "own his mistake like a man".

Wrong
What part of what I said was wrong? I literally just read the thread like 2 days ago.
Are you claiming that you didn't say that your other kid would come to LSU if we just offered Quad? Because you did say that.
Are you claiming that you didn't repeat numerous times that Quad had zero interest whatsoever in Bama? Because you did say that.
Are you claiming that you didn't freak out and talk about how LSU was gonna go 6-6 and you couldn't wait for Quad to kick their arse? Because you did say that.
So which one is it? Which part is "wrong" as you claim?

I'm glad you were man enough to come back, but he's right.

He also claimed he had an offer from Bama but wasn't interested if LSU offered. Then claimed that Vanderbilt offered and he was going there. Then he claimed that Tennessee offered them, in a 247 article of all places, and was going to commit there. It went on and on, so I don't know how to handle this half apology of his.

Exactly lol. He lied and lied and lied and lied for months and now claims that the only lie he told was that his cousin posted his rant. He was full of shite then and he's full of shite now.

I was asked to bring Jayson by the Staff. Jayson is the one that said that he would like to go to the same place Quad was going if possible at that time. This isn’t unusual. Jayson had real interest in LSU which is why I brought him to campus 2 times. (Again at the request of the staff)
Quad didn’t have interest in Bama until they started showing interest in him and the door was closed at LSU. Is there a problem with that? I can’t help what a kid wants or doesn’t want and that teenagers change their mind.
And I’ve never denied the 6-6 post. And I apologized for that and lying about it.
I didn’t say that I was ONLY sorry for lying, I said I ONLY lied about not writing the post.

Vanderbilt did offer him.
2 other people were in the Bama meeting with Saban. He got offered.
I was told Tennessee offered him. That turned out to be incorrect.

Either you don't know what the word literally means, you don't have very good reading comprehension, or you are referring to something different that I was.
I responded to this quote
quote:
Wake up. Your mindset and LSU mindset is why the Dylan Moses’s and Patrick Surtain and Dak Prescott’s go elsewhere. Enjoy your 6 win season coming in 2018. I’ll enjoy watching Quad drafted in the first round probably after beating that arse in a few years. Last post. Not reading or posting on this site again. Not my monkeys not my circus.
In this he states what he expects to happen and why, not what he hopes will happen.
Sort of like a large percentage of people on this board did about Les Miles, expecting 6 or 7 win seasons every other year. Many claiming to be lifelong tiger fans.
Fans sometimes don't like the direction of the program, sometimes they are right, sometimes wrong. They're still fans.

Appreciate what you do to help these young men, Coach J. Not many people go so far out of their way to do so, and it's a very admirable quality.
Somehow I missed the meltdown and it looks like it was regrettable but it seems that the overall good that you've done far outweighs any shortcomings.
Keep on doing what you do. Fact is, you helped Quad get regional if not national attention, and ultimately a full ride to get an education in return for his services as a football player. That alone, for just one kid, is enough to offset getting pissy about something that didn't work out but you were very emotionally vested in.
Wishing you and Quad nothing but the absolute best. And stick around here please. You never know when you might have another opportunity to help another young man get his name out there, and possibly get him in to LSU.

These offer lists are pretty meaningless. The recruiting service gets the "offers" from the recruits themselves since the teams and coaches can't say anything. So a player could say what he wants on these and no one would be able to correct the record because the team can't say anything and no one else really knows.
