In the recent past, the problems with UM have been their lack of talent at the OL. I still don't know enough about them there to know if they can make a legitimate run for a title.
However, their skill position guys are as good as anyone, IMO. There are only a few teams that I would consider trading for at their skill spots.

And I would argue that anytime your team is playing 15+ freshman and sophomores, you are at a bigtime talent loss.
Just my take.
Oh, I completely agree. Which is why in 2008 when they were all starting as freshman it made everyone realize how much the talent had dropped off in their prior classes...yet also showed how good they could be in the future once they were adjusted to college.
Hell, you basically had a large chunk of Miami Northwestern's high school team from the prior year (8 of them I believe) that went 7-6 their first year in college.
Simply, I see a lot of potential in their team for this year, but I doubt they put it all together.

I became a Tiger fan when I thought Storm was going to LSU. He "landed nicely at Miami" and is exceeding their expectations. He will more than likely be redshirted this year. I;ll watch for him next. I will still keep up with you Tigers, but I think Storm has been a great player and I want to follow him.
