Well this is what happens when they want revenue share. If they aren’t producing, or the coach thinks they will never produce, then why are they paying them.

The only way any of this can work is with collective bargaining. You need a contract between a players' union and the conferences. This will shutdown the Wild West portal season by providing stability for both teams and players.

Can we retire this sentiment?
Fall practice starts in around 7 months. There are hundreds of players still in the portal, and there are still a few days left for players to enter the portal. Schools can offer scholarships to these "free agents" for literally months in front of us.
Do I think there are issues with this system? Of course. But let's not make this more dramatic than it really is.

If Chambliss gets a temporary injunction, all his side has to do is delay the case until after his next year. Then he has played and the issue is moot.

I don't see why this is an issue. In every other line of work you get replaced if you aren't good enough.
