Nope... the QB room had 2 returning QBs. Obviously Lane didnt push to have them return... and thats okay
Literally every new CFB head coach that is hired usually brings in "his guy" at QB. Kiffin, Golesh, Sumrall, and Stein all cleared out their QB rooms.

I like Braden Atkinson from Mercer. He was Freshman of the year in the FCS, threw for 3526 passing yards at a 66% clip with 34 tds and 11 ints.
Already in the portal- ND and Syracuse are looking at him for a backup, Toledo as a starter. He is not mobile however.

You missed the point.... THE NEW HEAD COACH usually brings in his OWN QB to start his tenure. How hard is that to understand? He wasnt coming in to start the damn 2nd or 3rd QB from the previous staff.
