This means he tried to get him to change his mind and failed.
Welcome to your new home Demond.

Also doesn’t help that Fisch & Williams had the same representation as well.

Yup. That's the only reason he's doing this because UW might try to hold him accountable since that was his client. So they may try to ban him from their university entirely and maybe never negotiate with clients that he represents. The philosophical differences is absolute bullshite considering he has no ethics when he represents clients like coaches who do it all the time. He made him look like a clown and his arse is on the burner is the only reason he dropped him.

The agent had a conflict of interest as I understand it.

Downvote me, I don't give a shite. I want LSU to have nothing to do with Demond Williams Jr.

He's not special enough to warrant this headache, and he's 5'11 (generous).

This supports my theory posted earlier this morning in support of another poster's smart observation ....

LSU's disclosure of what they were willing to pay the AZ QB let DW (and all other QBs) know what their true market value was. This is what likely started DW to think about entering the portal, not any direct contact from LSU with DW or his agent (read as: no tampering from LSU).

This agent likely got raked over the coals by his other client, the coach at WASH, forcing him to take this position. The agent was likely not included in the initial discussions within DW's family and maybe even objected once he told him this is what he wanted to do.

This conflict of interest is why DW should not have the same agent as a coach, who is paid more and has a long term relationship with colleges (likely to make more money off the coach's deal than a single kid, even if talented like DW).

Pure speculation, but all makes sense.

If he made the decision to hit the portal without telling his agency than I wonder who made this graphic. You know its not his representation or university. Makes you think, or maybe just me think

Strong disagree, any agent going public about dropping a client is a douchebag. Regardless of where the client is considering going. If he dropped him and didn’t tweet about it it’s a different story. This seems akin to mudslinging

He is a POS because he also Reps his Head Coach at Washington. So this agent chose what he perceived as the lesser of two evils. Plus the fact that I am sure he was getting calls before Washington decided to sign Williams to another contract and I bet this guy never told him. But I sure bet he told his other client the Coach.

The same agent as Jedd Fisch.

Sounds like he and Jedd conspired to undercut this young man's payday and he wouldn't have any of it so is coming to LSU. There is a definite conflict of interest there.

Good question. Do players have publicists also... or would that just be the same person as the agents?

Is possiblecge did that himself. Seems like all kids learn photoshop in high school now, if not before.

Not sure wtf you’re talking about. My opinion is these kids are taking advantage of the system that was given to them. An agent trying to make an example of a kid while also directing other kids he represents to do similar things is gross.
