Absolutely. Not as prevalent as it was in the past, but you are correct here.

By most recruiting services, Jones was ranked as between the 15th and 20th best offensive tackle coming out of juco. Oftentimes those Services can be wrong, but the number one ranked offensive tackle in juco just happens to be from Lutcher and is going to Arizona State.

Practice does require backups. Depth is needed. And depth that doesn’t cost a million a player.

We need depth and one may make the jump and be a baller. Hell all of them may be ballers.

Ferris State QB seemed to be ok this year

That's called an anomaly. Do you need us to explain that to you?

That Southern DB’s offer list

Yeah we were really lucky to land him. With any luck he may make a tackle or two on special teams this year.

No way will LSU get up to 105 spots filled. Having said that, it doesn't matter. LSU has almost 30 in the transfer portal, several out of eligible seniors, some early draft enrollees. Even counting the new HS guys and the incoming transfers already, LSU still has about 15 slots just to get up to 85. And what some here don't understand apparently is you need special team players, 2nd and 3rd string players, and probably at least a couple of these small school players will surprise and may even start.

32 guys transferred along with all the ones leaving without any more years to play. There’s also another increase of 20 more to get to 105 on the roster now. That means bringing in an absolute shite ton of players to get there.

Where the frick do you retards think they’re going to do that besides grabbing a shite ton of diamonds in the rough that they’ve evaluated? Saban called Kiffin the best evaluator of talent he’s ever seen. How about you trust Lane and his GM that have done this for many years instead of bitching like an old bitch?

So basically you’re saying Corey Raymond can’t evaluate DB talent? Not saying dude will start but you need depth, special teams. He may have the frame and natural talent but needs to be coached up. Also with going to 105 every team will be taking flyers.

Rouge, yourself, Speedy, and Fat Bastard are all my friends. We don’t need to finger point and name call one another. We only stand if united (looking at you Jimmy John).

We need to get on the Lane Train and ride together.
