I wish the comparisons bt Chuck Hunter and Mickey Johnson would stop. Both were at camp this summer and Johnson was clearly the better.
I love Hunter's upside but the only way I see him coming here is if we dont get Johnson and even then, he may not get an offer.

Exactly. LSU coaches made their decision. Chucky will be going elsewhere more than likely. I just hope it's TCU so he doesn't stick it in LSU's arse for 4 years.

I agree but sometimes you got to put some effort to get these guys. LSU recruiters arent "lazy" like Mack at Texas.

I went to the Karr-St. Paul's game. MJ threw kids around all night. He is the strongest looking HS DL I have ever seen. Honestly, though, he doesn't look very quick or explosive. The Karr QB had no problems sliding away from him on pass plays. Also, MJ plays a little higher than I expected for a guy his height. He relies exclusively on his brute strength. Regardless, MJ has dominant strength that will translate to college. He looks like a good interior run stopper.

I do think he is playing games with the recruiting services, etc...But you were all in high school, and some of you recruited. His close friends know where he truly is leaning and they WON'T be able to keep it much of a secret.
This sounds wierd typing this but,,I would believe the high school kids' rumors way before the recruiting services on this particular kid.

I went to SPS and was there for when Mickey first started getting attention..IMO he seemed like a homebody, so take that FWIW.

I wouldn't worry too much about this guy. I really can't stand these primadonnas who think we're all going to stand around and live our lives worrying about where he will decide to go to college. He can go wherever he wants to go.
