Things change when you have a million dollars put in front of you.
exactly
He's expressed time and time again that he is all LSU. He has stated it was a dream of his since childhood. If you've ever spoken to him or his family and not those "in the know", youll know just how pro LSU he is. Not to mention, he isnt going to be the end all be all of pitching prospects coming out this year. He will fall in the draft because of his signability and probably wont be offered the kind of money that his talent would command. Therefore I think he will be on campus.
Look at Anthony Ranaudo. 11th round pick, and barring serious injury or a total meltown on the mound, he'll likely be a top round pick in 2010

True. That's where he was tonight against Catholic. He hit a 2 run home run to boot.

haha ur right about brody. he had 17 mlb teams at the first SCRIMMAGE of the year. he will get picked within the 1st 2 rounds. He hit 96 and had a homer walked and stole a couple bases for them, They were real impressed

No I don't think he's going to be a punter at all
I've watched him in high school. His leg is OK but not college material. Maybe practice squad. We had a kicker a couple of years before him who could outkick him by a good bit and was never looked at by any major program

he has made it known that he would attend lsu no matter where hes drafted.that might lower his draft status.
I've said this for almost 2 years now. LSU all the way. His parents have money. Money can wait, they want him to go to LSU
On the other comment I know he was all state for punting but it really isn't that impressive in person. He will not be a punter at LSU

Very, very few kids throw 95. Exactly how many are there in the entire MLB? Kids may touch 95 on some amped gun, but when he throws tomorrow (or whenever) he will not be 93-95. Just doesn't happen. Even if someone hits 95, they throw 91-93.

yeah colvin sits at 89-91 touches 94 and 95

Here we go again.
Not knocking the kid at all........he's doing what they tell him to do.
All you have to do is look at the alarming trends of TJ surgeries for kids under 17 to see it's happening at an alarming rate.

I never said you were knocking the kid.
It's you persistant rant that the Zachary coaches are "wearing him out" for their benefit.
Zachary played in 4 games this weekend and Zach pitched 6 innings.
