I keep seeing UW fans harping on the part of his contract that it's up to the school or the UW NIL entity to decide whether his name could be put in the portal, but that kind of clause isn't enforceable. This one will get uglier before it's settled.

You’re way overthinking that bud. At worst, he does what the Miami kid (Xavier Lucas I think) did and just withdraws from school and enrolls at another school as a walk on.

I'm not overthinking it all. I specifically said "hypothetically" "in no way do I want this to happen" "would be funny to watch it play out." At no point did I suggest that he should or would stay and take a redshirt. I just asked what would happen if he did. If you don't know it's ok to say you don't know or just not respond at all lmao
