Not necessarily tbh we've seen many teams with minimal post play get to a final four over the years
Koval is 6'5 and allegedly when Joyner reached campus she measured at 6'3, Knox is 6'2. Thats dramatically bigger than what we had last season in 6'2 and 6'1 inside w/ Morrow/Smith. The other freshmen girl likely isn't gonna play. Of course worse case scenario is Williams can play at the 4 when going small and for something more athletic. The only issue is the depth is thin for sure so thats a fair criticsm. I do like our bench MUCH better this year, while youthful is much more talented and athletic in general
To be honest this last season they could have gotten to a final four this season. The game was lost on MK/Gilbert being ice cold from the field. Have to hit shots in those moments if you want to advance, we missed way too many. And it was a good season IMO considering we didnt really add much from the HS or portal ranks after Angel left. This past years HS/Portal class was much much better

Agreed Elite 8 as floor and final 4 as ceiling with this team. Bench will be much better and they have great guards with Fulwiley, MK12 and Big 4 and post will definitely be bigger and bench will be deeper maybe 8-10 by SEC play as compared to last yr, 6-7 at most deep.

I may be in a minority but the most impressive player from an opposing team I saw all year last year was Fulwiley. She’s just going to wreck shop. I cannot believe we got her. She’s an absolute (proven) baller. Apparently she just wasn’t putting up w Dawn’s BS. Mulkey will get the best out of her just like Morris. She’s going to be a star.

And she has a great want to beat Dawn Staley. That's good.

Good post. IMO the only thing holding MK back from being a super star is making shots consistently when it matters. I think she makes the jump this year. MK Big 4 and Lay. Can’t think of a better guard trio in the country.

4/5 were 5 star recruits, I would imagine at least 1 can contribute
