lacks the burst that Alley Broussard had imo

I disagree. Ford's offense has him standing still from a 2 point stance on the snap. That's deceiving. Ally's was in a 3 point stance in a split back veer. He looked like he was shot out of a cannon on the snap.

Mingo will lose his 4th star without question imo. He is not a safety and is being forced to play there. He is being completely wasted by WM and it's painstakingly obvious

He will lose all of his * if he stays at sefety. He is big and athletic but not very comfortable as a safety. Its not a position you learn in 6 months and Mingo is already behind the 8 ball being only in his 2nd year.

Ford is all he is billed to be and yes the questions about his speed are justified.

HELL NO!

The play happened in the third quarter. Ford had worked his arse off all game. He had almost every carry in the 1st half. Glynn is scalding fast at corner, just has no hips. He is also 30 pounds lighter than Ford is.

Ford will be great...trust me.

Mingo is out of position at saftey ,but we have 5 guys at linebacker (Logan Lee, Blake Brassel, Josh Zeigler, Robert Lay, David Eley) that could all start anywhere else in the state and Mingo is the best fit at saftey. He still had a couple of nice plays in coverage (could have had 2 picks but dropped one and knocked one down) ,but he also missed some tackles and was out of position alot. He may lose his 4th star but I guarantee Les doesnt care about stars.

Neither of the 2 guys on the outside are better than Mingo. He's being wasted and it's painful to watch. The guy was in the backfield making plays double digit times last year in each game and you move him? He went from complete unknown, never played in his life, to a top 100 player. Sorry but I cannot agree with this decision.

Arledge is a smart man and Ill stick with his decision. They tried Zeigler and Blaze Thomas and David Eley all out at saftey and none of them were as good as Mingo so he is basically there by default. I believe he will get better but I agree he looke terrible tonight.

If the fact is that the defense is better as a collective unit when he is at safety, then that is where he needs to be. I'm not saying it is the best position for him personally. But if there isn't a better option at safety, and you have plenty of good linebackers, then the choice is simple. I was told that we are very light at safety and very heavy at linebacker.

Doesn't allow him to shine much, but I understand completely.

By the way 74...still don't think we look better offensively with Abrams at fullback?

Id say that is one hell of a game against a powerhouse 5A team.

After tonight, Im not sure b/c early on we looked great with him at fullback ,but in the third and fourth Talton looked great running from fullback but Abrams couldnt get the ball b/c Banks was horrible.

Not to take away from Ford but most of that came on the nearly 90 yd. Run that Glynn walked him down on. He did look good though but realisticly 83 yds. is about what he had w/out the long run. He will be great as a Tiger. He lives up to the hype for sure.

Na, Ive got Samer Magoub. The kid had 12 tackles from the free saftey position. If he plays like that all season he will be all state.

His o-line was freaking horrible though. The runs he got positive yardage on were all him.

43 was in on a lot of tackles as well. He had a good game. All I heard all night though was Blaze Thomas on the tackle. Jordan Allen had a bad night, was benched for a while after jumping offsides several times.
