Starting linebacker on a national champion LSU team...I'll tell you what; I'll take that from any linebacker on the roster currently or any that we're recruiting and I don't give a shite what school they come from. Even if it's John Curtis or Rummel.

I'm gonna say this one more time. Listen closely now Lester.

STARTING LINEBACKER on a NATIONAL CHAMPION LSU TEAM.

Maybe I'm just easy going but I don't ask for much more than that...

He was used more like a Nickelback though. I'd be cool with that if he didn't give up anything in the passing game. That wasn't the case either though.

One more time....NATIONAL CHAMPION!!!!!!

Damn, I wrote it in caps, repeated it 3 times. What the hell does it take.

Maybe I just need to raise my standards, but national championships are all I'm asking. Whatever the hell he did, he was the best we had for his spot, and we were the best in the nation. I just can't expect anything more...sorry!

Luke Sanders/Jason Dedoux

Bradie James was years ago

not to mention the worthless Brian West at DE

Sanders came out 5 years after James and Jason LEDOUX came out the same year as James.

"Worthless" Brian West? He came back to football after several years of baseball and gained several pounds of muscle to get ready and PLAYED that next year! He contributed and made plays on the 2003 team! West Monroe HC Don Shows said Brian West was the best football player he ever coached and Shows has nearly 300 wins and has coached some good ones. Worthless my arse...that would be you!

I think I just realized the problem...I'm more into team accomplishments. I am a fan of LSU and pull for the TEAM'S success. I would've liked for Flynn to have thrown less interceptions. I would've liked to have seen McCray cover a little better at times. I would've liked for Colt David to made the field goal at Kentucky as time expired in regulation.

I don't get to have any of those things or any of the other things I would've liked to have had last year.

That being said....It couldn't have been any better. We are the National Champions.
He did just fine, thank you very much.

I respectfully disagree. He was in a position of no glory. He came out of the game in long yardage situations when we went nickel (enter McCray), and that is a time for linebackers to shine. He had coverage responsibilities when we were in base defense. From his position, he was never allowed to rush. All in all, the less you heard his name, the better he was doing.

Now, my arse is tired. You outlasted me so I guess you win.

Because you disagree with him he is embarrassing himself? Earl is pretty spot on here with this topic IMO. Weak link is an understatement.
