Tommy Banks was the best player that DeNordo recrutied(i fell anyway) but he did not use him right if i remember Saban used him right the last 2 games of his SR year an he had like 300yds rushin in those 2 games. He could of been really somethin but that is in the past.

That's great and all but Bradie James' don't come around that often in this state. Miles ain't signed someone like Bradie and may never.

Nor did Miles' predecessor. At the time, Dinardo signed two, T. Faulk and B. James. I wish Faulk would've stuck around for his final year. Poor guy got some terrible advice about entering the draft.

We could have had a shot at Rufus Alexander.....

Dinardo was one helluva recruiter actually. That was his strong suit and a big reason he got the LSU job. He recruited many of the players who helped win a NC at Colorado in the early 90's. Most of the starters on the 2001 SEC/Sugar Bowl championship team were Dinardo Recruits.
His schemes and asst. coaching loyalty got him in trouble in the end.

Yeah..damn just turrible! Cupboard was left bare! Only 11 or 12 NFL Players Drafted players & a ton of Free Agents like Ryan Clark. Whatevah happened to dat Ryan Clark?

Jump to conclusions much? You're an IDIOT. I didn't say he couldn't recruit. I didn't say that we had no talent. I'm saying that, because he reached on a lot of guys with bad character and bad grades, we got burned. He didn't have 80 non-redshirt scholly players in 1999. I don't remember how many that you can take on the road with you, but we were having to take walk-ons to fill that lesser number out. We had enough players for a starting line-up, but we had no depth at all. Couple that with DiNardo's crazy boot camp practice philosophy, and you have a broken and beaten down team and his demise.

Nice try. Nonetheless, I'd like to see your punk arse meet Tommy Banks in the 2-hole... make that .... at the line of scrimmage.
