He started off being a national recruit because he was Joe's brother and played for a power program. Also, people thought he would not go to LSU because of Joe. You are spot on about Pelini. Tennessee and bama offered him because they keep trying to make inroads to LA.

Chevis Jackson 4.62

Zenon 4.62 and 4.54 at LSU pro day

Travis Daniels 4.59 at combine 4.45 at pro day

Randall Gay is the only real burner that has came out lately at CB

even Webster was like a 4.50 guy

We haven't had a CB run a 4.65 or worse "recently". Outside of Chevis who ran a 4.62 they have all been in the 4.5's...so your original statement isn't true.

those times are pretty close

McKnight hasnt even started his SR season, and they are comparable to the guys we have had starting 3-4 years his elder.

what is so hard to understand about that?

he's just as fast as 2 guys that started for us at CB in the national title game against OSU. And he is 16 or 17

so your original statement isn't true.

ummm not really.

besides, he'll time faster than that in a year or so.

I have hard time seeing a guy who runs a 4.65 at 149 becoming a much faster player at 185.

Or all of the times were realistic and not fabrications of the coach/recruit's imagination.

He's not a scrub, but a marginal three-star rarely gets offers from Alabama or Tennessee in April.

either way, his time was on the front end. One person ran sub 4.5

Trovon Reed 4.59! OMG why are we offering this slow WR????

the only thing marginal about him is his weight, if that is even accurate.

Reed probably has about 4.55-4.6 speed right now, that makes sense. After 3-4 years of training, plus working with a speed coach in the months before the combine, he could probably run in the 4.45 range, just like D Byrd. Sounds good to me. I can actually believe those numbers as opposed to every "230" pound linebacker with "4.5" speed.

His ranking on Rivals is the definition of a marginal three star prospect.

A 4.65 is only close to 1 Cb we've had recently and he still ran faster. So, once again, your original statement is false. A 4.65 is not "on par" to consistent 4.5 guys.

No he isn't. They ran a 4.62 and 4.55...that is not a 4.65. Not to mention these guys are 40 pounds heavier.

Yes really, you were wrong.

I just said it's only close to Chevis Jackson's 4.62 and you even quoted it. Can you not read?

You said his speed is on par with CBs we've had recently. For the third or fourth time you were wrong. Most CBs we've had recently were pretty much all 4.5 guys outside of Jackson who ran a 4.62.

Why are you unable to admit when you are wrong?

and Zenon was clocked differently from a 4.62 and 4.54

there is no difference from a 4.65 and 4.62. So yes, its up to par.

and you're talking about a grown arse man and a JR in HS.

and none of our CBs have been blazing fast besides Randall Gay. Thats the whole point. Im not surprised you cant understand that though considering the stupid shite you've said in the past

that's funny lester...you do realize all of our recruits run "4.4s & 4.5s" when being timed by hand...so a 4.65 is just flat out pathetic
