While it sucks to play at 10 with NO TV, it is better to play the game. Not from a selfish fan standpoint, but from both the standpoint of the state and the LSU football program. LSU needs as many games as possible before Auburn! To cancel this game would mean less game time experience for our team. Also, rescheduling it to October would take away the off week before UF! All in all I think this is ok. The state probably wanted to cancel, but LSU probabaly wanted to play. This was likely a compromise.
IN the end stop this is probably best. Just stop being selfish and complaining about no tv and early tailgating. JUST BE A MAN, even if you are not 40!

This is plain stupid. The hurricane is going to hit Lake Charles on Tuesday night and they move the game from 4pm and a national television audience to 10am and basically make it a scrimmage? Stupid.

Someone asked this earlier in the thread, but what does "No pre-game activities" mean? Does that mean no tailgating, no band march in, no band on the field...what?

I'm confused. The storm is not supposed to be anywhere close until Tuesday or Wednesday. Even being overly cautious, that's still plenty of time to get out of Dodge.

Yeah, I was responding to someone saying it just should have been cancelled. I'm happy to get the game in and will be in the north end zone at 9:45. If Gustav hits, who knows, we may not play next week
