So what's your prediction SFP?
Posted on 3/27/09 at 12:58 pm to Elleshoe
It would be pretty lame to have won it every odd year this decade but 2009. Just my opinion
Although what sucks is TYPICALLY the odd year schedule favor us, and this year that''s definitely not the case...

They obviously have a chance. But, no.

Yes, LSU will be in atlanta. Anything les than 9-3, and less will be on hot seat for 2010
You're a fool. He just landed the top recruiting class. 2010/2011 LSU will be a force to be reckoned with. His seat *MAY* be a tinge warm if he loses more than 3 this year, but hot? No way. Not 2 yrs off a MNC.

12-0..."BAMA's back, baby! We're going to the NC game!"
12-1..."Well, we can still win the Sugar Bowl!"
12-2..."Um...tradition and ah, well...Utah? Seriously?!!"
Nice end to that dream season, a-hole. frick off.

Let the dummygumps keep thinking that about Les as he keeps recruiting top 5 classes and continues kicking their butts. They keep pointing to last year as the beginning of the end, but if I recall he was smart enough to beat them on their home field in 07, and then their #1 team needed double OT to luck up and win over a lousy Lsu team last year. Perhaps the gumps need to take another look at their Sugar Bowl performance, their SEC championship performance, and some of Saban's losses while at Lsu before they throw too many stink bombs at Coach Miles.

This is true -- and the gumps are a testament to this.

I agree. I really don't know why some people are looking for Miles to be on the hot seat. Look, Miles has made one big mistake while he's been at LSU. He decided to give Mallory the DC position (I don't really think it was equal between Mallory and BDP). That obviously didn't work out. Maybe Miles felt obligated to give a current assistant a promotion, b/c they had just won the 2007 NC? I don't know, but it didn't work.
Now, from all accounts the defense will be in much better hands. LSU is loaded, and there's reason to believe that the team will be even more talented in 2010/2011 than in 2009, even though 2009 could be interesting.
The 2009 team could definitely lose 3 games, maybe even 4. But as long as they look good, and are playing hard, I'm not going to sign the "let's run Les out of town" petition. The future looks really bright for LSU football, and we are lucky to have Les Miles in charge.

I'm thinking anybody who doesn't know how to spell his name at this point in time has no right to an opinion.

I guess it feels really good to be 1-3 against him. How will 1-4 feel?

Does LSU continue the odd year streak and make it back to Atlanta in 2009?
As long as they don't revert back to the way they were the last time the year had a 9 in it. (1999)
