We were down - I think 12-7 - but plenty of time to come back, and momentum was swinging our way. We turned it over deep in our territory and Florida had a goal to go. Defense stepped up at first, but then gave up the clinching TD when Turner blitzed instead of covering.
Saban responded to a question after the game, which was roughly, “Coach, do you think your defense might be a little too complicated for the players.” He answered, “You tell me. On that play Lionel had to rush the QB if the TE stayed in to block, or cover him if he went out for a pass. Do you think that’s too complicated?”

Anyone remember the tiger cub on a leash walking down bourbon? Wild times.
