It's silly to brag about total when you play 5 to 10 more home games. It defies logic. So when you look at averages you see they are within a few hundred of each other. I believe the winter weather being a factor, this says more about Arkansas fan support. That's my point.
just think if Arkansas was located on the equator, yall could possibly draw 40,000 a game

Maybe Arkansas should just join the Big 10 since they have to play in 5 feet of snow until March. The average temp difference is around 15 degrees between the two cities in February and March. Suck it up pussy.

Well them vols just can't handle the cold, although it doesn't seem to bother them much during football season, that just says more about Tennessee vols football support over the razorbacks i guess

tennessee is actually a decent baseball school too

I love how that little fricker ran away once I pointed out how Arkansas averaged less than 2,000 fans before 2003 and slightly above 2,000 in 2003. However, LSU's stays constant above 7,000.

It appears global warming in recent years has enabled arkansas fans to attend games more regularly. They must not be as tough and cold tolerant as we thought.

Do student tickets count in that total?

the weather debate is idiotic. Baton Rouge is the 3rd rainiest city in the country.
end of debate
end of debate

13 straight years coming into this year........(7th paragraph)
They must be going by total attendance. It's more accurate if you go by average attendance, which LSU isn't leading for 13 years in a row. 2007 broke the streak, but LSU leads every year since sometime in the 90s except that one season.

lsu leads baseball every year (i think)

LSU's baseball attendance is amazing...comparing it to other schools, last I looked only about 20 schools average over 3,000 per game nationally and only about 30 average over 2,000.
And if they count it like we do that's paid.

That still probably puts the Vols in the Top 30 nationally.

That guy had no arguement (woopiginaustin); what does weather have anything to do with attendance? I guess he thinks it sunshines everyday all day here in BR
. What an idiot, you can tell he's from Arkansas

would someone please remind the sooie pigs that they have had a significantly larger stadium than lsu (and technically still do). therefore, if lsu had the same size stadium and didn't max out attendence frequently, then lsu would have an even larger attendence figure thus increasing the gap. then the ridiculous weather argument would look even more pathetic

so according to the hog poster, Fayetteville looks like this

Did someone show this eskimo from Arky the average attendence difference this year, you know the year LSU got a bigger stadium and its still smaller than Arky's?
In case he hasn't noticed its 9,390 for us to 7,577 for them, a difference of 1,813 fans.
And the average temperature in fayetteville in February was 51 and 59 in March. So, where are all these 30 degree games he's talking about?
