[quote]I guess, to some extent, that is what LSU is doing by eliminating more and more free parking. Call me crazy but 50 bucks to park for a game against chattanooga is too much. Parking cost more than a game ticket at face value. I won't even mention how you can get tickets for 5 dollars or free.

Geez, taking away the levee/hayfield lots is pretty ridiculous. That was always my go to.

Talk about MONEY HUNGRY. LSU is charging you $5 for each pass you buy today for mailing(will call as well). So you want to charge $90 for a parking pass to Auburn, as well as $5 to put it in the mail. They are going to kill Gamedays.

5 dollars for will call. I wonder why?

same reason you have to pay $10 to get on a list for baseball parking passes

My den and large screen TV look better all the time. I enjoyed my season tickets for years when I was younger, but it's too much of a hassle to get in to a game any more. Next thing you know, LSU will be charging for bathroom use either by the turd or sheets of toilet paper. LSU and other big time colleges are closing out the common person who once made up a major portion of the fan base and actually stayed for the whole game. It's really sad.

You should not be allowed on campus unless you have game tickets. No room for the freebie seekers.

With all this influx of cash, we should fully expect timely and abundant trash cans as well as clean restrooms, right????

which is why i am for paid parking passes. it will keep them out. unless they keep free lots they would have to say ALL PARKING is only for those with tix to game. so they would have to verify even in NOT PASS required lots. WHich COULD be a PITA but i guess they could do it. they finally shutdown that mess that was always created right on nicholson between old box and new box. no more parking on nicholson there. the trash they left there was atrocious for years. you can still tailgate but no more parking there. have to park in paid lot across from old box nicholson side of tracks/skip bertman drive.

Where is this coming from? According to the official LSU parking info and map, the Hayfield and Levee lots are still free, public parking...first come, first serve.

I park in the Parker Ag lot or out by the UREC most the time anyways. But it looks like this isn't to scale. There is a big lot (what I consider to be part of the Hayfield/River Road lots) that looks like it's been converted to RVs on the far side of the softball field near the SAC complex. Ridiculous considering the RV lot by the vet school was half full most games last year.

Riverroad is going to be hell with people not realizing until they pull up that 412, 413 are no longer free. That is a ton of spots. I don't see how they are going to fill all those with reserved parking
