Dandy Don knows as much as you or I. This board has better sources than he does. Chicken has better sources.
If you say so. I personally think he’s cultivated sources (mostly passed down from his old man) who are reliable. He has been right way more than many. And he just passes along info and says when he does or doesn’t believe it.
I usually collect and compare the data from multiple sources that I deem as somewhat reliable to see which ones agree and disagree with each other because I have no insider knowledge.
But, I can see patterns and also use logic and reason as to some of their conclusions.
In this case, there seems to be a lot of disagreement and moving pieces.
Therefore, if there is no separation in $, it will come down to other factors as I stated. Just depends on what he values at this point in his life and career

Clemson must have JUST made a winning record. Last time I checked they were 5-5. They actually WON a game yesterday?

Is Nuss not injured now that MVB is in?

I agree. So why are you and Dandy Don not bullish on LSU. That’s my question.

I was at LSU during some of the Hallman era. The WKU game was a carbon copy of nearly every win.

Atkins wasn't hired to be the OC. He was pretty much the only option available after Sloan left.

Ah. I just think that it goes beyond the financial aspect, and I think that’s what he’s getting.
My thoughts are that it will come down to what he’s valuing most at this time.
1. We assume he wants to win a Natty as he should. If that’s the case, Ole Miss probably loses out and it comes down to UF and LSU. So, which one does HE think gives him the best shot at that?
2. What place will give him the control and other resources beyond $ that he needs, while staying out of his way?
3. He is reconciling with his ex. She will need to be comfortable with the place he ends up. This is an unknown in my mind
There’s probably more than this, but between all these unknowns, I’m not nearly as confident as many seem to be. Maybe some of us, including DD, are worried about smoke screens and being LSU being caught with their pants down, so to speak.
I’m also concerned that they didn’t do a real coaching search. Hopefully, Saban has been advocating for LSU to LK personally. In my mind, that would put LSU over the top

They are decent but not as good as even the worst SEC teams.
Huh???....they were almost as good as...US !!!
If one of their WRs doesn't drop a wide-open TD pass in the first half....we lose that game.....
