That back shoulder one handed grab was an awesome catch, but i bet you he could make that catch 8 out of 10 times, as well as many other good receivers.
Lol no. Balls get thrown to the wrong shoulder all the time. I've never seen that catch made the way he made it.

The best thing about Landry is that he never saw a pass that he thought he couldn't catch.
He went after every ball 100% balls to the wall.....that is what I want out of my WRs.

Nah he had one in the endzone that year or maybe that game that was better.
That was the year before against Arkansas. And no, it was not better. In fact, in my heyday playing touch and flag I saw catches as good as the one the year before. I've never made, or seen, a catch as good as the one in the OP. That was the GOAT at any level as far as I'm concerned. Saved the game, too.
Footnote: That game is another Mett give-away if Jarvis doesn't steal it.

didn't mett hurt his knee on his first play ever at LSU and then obviously hurt his knee on the last play ever at LSU.
actually his first play ever should have been the 1st snap of 1/9/12 but that is another story.

we literally used to practice this catch in our apartment all the time back in college jumping over a railing onto a bed, which we broke several times.
I'm not downplaying that catch, b/c it was awesome, and obviously a lot harder to make than what me and my friends did in our apartment, but i'm not surprised he caught it, if that makes sense.
It was a poorly thrown ball that needed to be a tight spiral and slightly up for him to make that catch. While it looks spectacular, its a catch many NFL wr's could make.
Calvin Johnson's catch at Ga Tech i think was better, slightly, but it still doesn't beat the one in the OP. I just don't think many WR's would have even had the thought of what to do to make that catch possible, much less actually catch it.
