am very loyal--to USC. I did not know it was a prerequisite for all folks born and raised in southern Louisiana to be LSU fans. I suppose that LSU fans who were born and reside in other cities such as NO LA or other states are disloral and the "worst of the worst", huh?

No moron. Others who live in neighboring cities or states cheer for their local schools/teams which is great. Did you go to school at USC? Did you ever live in L.A.? If not you're a douche.

DId not go to school there. No ties. Fan since the mid 70's.

So you are saying that any of the tens of thousands of LSU fans who live in another state, whi did not go to LSU and have no family ties to it are considered douches by LSU fans, huh? Or is just USC fans who happen to live in Louisiana?

I can't believe you inhospitable SOB's on this forum. This man comes all this way to see an SEC battle and while you give him some good pointers on things to see and not miss, not a soul on here helps this man out and tells him the most important thing to not miss while visiting Death Valley.

The location of the one and only 2003 National Championship Team's Trophy. You can go in here admire, take many pictures, and go home and show all your friends where the 2003 National Championship Trophy is and what team owns it!!!! There is only one trophy and one winner. Enjoy it in all its sparkling glory...

But then enjoy the game it will be a good one.

WOW. As shallow a statement as I've seen 'em.

I have a good friend who was born and raised in Louisiana, went to McNeese, and is as huge a Bama fan as there is. He catches a lot of flack over it from many (not me) but it's his perrogative. At the end of the day, it's just a freakin game.

Get there early and be prepared to eat at the tailgates. Visit many tailgates so you can try out a wide range of different food

Im sorry people but Ive been attending LSU games since 1965,not once have I EVER been offered the first crumb of food . It had to be said, it may happen from time to time , but people make it sound like you cant get to the stadium without people handing you out food. It is a myth

I've never been offered food either, but I'm not a visitor from another school.

I have offered many visitors food and drinks on multiple occassions. So have all of my neighboring tailgaters. Maybe you need to wear some other team's gear?

Does anyone realize this guy has only posted this one question....no "thanks for the input" or "great ideas all"...nothing.

Kind of wondering if he has even read any of the advices given on here.

The only time you should ever go crazy over a chicken coming out of a box is when Mama brings home KFC for dinner.

Thanks to everyone for all the great replies. I really appreciate it. This southern hospitality thing looks like the real deal. Work turned my week upside down and we didnt get here until tonight. But we're still on track for Saturday and fired up!
