Yes, except this all came from a poster on the rant who claimed the know this girl. Of course he didn't and actually got the information from some supposed facebook comments. It is all BS.
So far I've heard Wing slept with his girl, he was stalking an ex, he was shouting racist remarks, he punched Wing or Landry first, they faked the injuries, they are con artists looking for a lawsuit, they were trying to pick on the football players. I think I'm starting to notice a pattern here.
If you buy any of this crap then you need to be removed from society for good. You are certainly a detriment.

I really don't think that contradicts your post, other than that I believe that the Chief is trying his absolute best to be fair.
It sounds to me based on BRPD statements prior to the player interviews, after the interviews, and while information is still being gathered that the Chief has one goal in mind. That goal is to issue second degree battery charges against "someone".
Now don't get me wrong, charges of second degree battery may be "fair". On the other hand they may not be. Likewise, they may or may not be justified. But there is little question the Chief "hopes" and "aims" to file them.
"Fair" is not his goal. An arrest and Second Degree Battery charge is his goal. He's made that crystal clear.

Question for those alleging that broken vertebrae automatically equals 2nd degree battery.
Let's suppose someone started a fight with me, and in self defense I punched them. They fell backwards onto the concrete, and fractured vertebrae due to the way they hit the pavement. Am I automatically charged with 2nd degree battery, no exceptions?

I think they are getting expert advice to see if the neck/back injuries, etc. are consistent with the head kick or whatever the victims claim caused it. I think they are covering their butts as to whether those injuries were already there, or whether they could have been caused by the fight.
