100 year anniversity helmet? Did issue these early or did they add wrong? 100 years of alabama football would be in 1992 since they played their first game in 1892

Hey, Relapse, you are absolutely right. Thanks for the link. I am not holding out any hope for this helmet but it would be nice to see one. Thanks for a voice of sanity and clarity on this board, but you are waaaay too knew here. I hope you have thick skin. Duck!!

I'm amazed that The Helmet Project has only turned up 1 potential game worn helmet that had the 100 logo on it. There are a ton of schools that wore it, some for the entire season. Surely there is 1 sitting on a shelf somewhere.
For history buffs, I recommend ESPN's College Football Encyclopedia. I hope they publish somewhat regular updates to it.
