I respect your opinion and I know that the move is inevitable, but I see it as the pussificatijon of baseball. I've watched about 400 games from behind the visitors' dugout and I've never felt uneasy. I pay attention when a LH batter is at the plate.
Oh I was paying attention, it was just the fact that I saw the ball go over my head and when it went off the stairs I lost all sight of it until it came down in front of me. I know it makes me sound like a puss, and I’m completely ok with taking that lol, it just spooked me to lose sight of that ball and know it went over my head. Thing could have came back at me and knocked the shite out of me.

I get it and I was not calling you a puss. 5 or 6 years ago my Dad took a ball to the belly and it caused a nice bruise, but I would still still prefer to not look through a netting. I don't remember anyone getting seriously hurt in the seats behind the dugouts. This past season the only injury that I remember was in the LF bleachers.

Didn’t he hire Smoke so he could still line his pockets with baseball camp money?

He wasn’t going to give the job to anyone who wasn’t going to turn the camp money over to him. Bianco and Wells both told him to get bent.
Don’t get me wrong...I appreciate everything Skip has done for LSU over the years...but this was typical Louisiana good ol’ boy corruption, pure and simple. Anywhere but here, Skip (at a bare minimum) would’ve been fired for abusing his position like that for profit. And, given that it’s a state position, possibly faced indictment for malfeasance.

I hope some of you filling out this survey complain about aramark’s concessions. This year was the worst i can remember. Cold food, out of food, no bbq sauce

#1 and #3 but in addition, pave the parking lot, 4 lane the damn road, get some better way to get fans across Nicholson, and get rid of the damn aluminum bleachers for God’s sake. Oh, how about getting the bullpens off the damn field, it’s not high school!

Where would you suggest the bullpens are relocated?
I haven't noticed dead grass. The aprons are already artificial turf so you must be referring to the playing field. Baseball is meant to be played on grass and dirt.

Neither one had anything to do with camp money. Both coaches and their families were happy where they were and did not want to make a lifestyle move.
Skip is tight with money but the price of the new Box kept escalating before construction began. He had to find ways to keep the cost down while providing all the features that were deemed necessary. Visitor locker room was deleted as well as the berm and new seating throughout. But it's time to fork over the $$ and make some improvements that improve the fan experience.

I got livid when I saw that on there

As others have stated, remove all bleachers and replace with chairback seats.

No shite. Baseball is meant to be played on dirt and grass... frick artificial turf.

Agreed... and not green. Green is not LSU. They should be all purple or all gold.

I can see the argument for moving the bullpens... it looks more professional. I do enjoy watching the pitchers warm up though. I don't like the stadiums where you can't even tell who is warming.

How much truth is it that they went with green because it's the cheapest option? That's the default color or some shite.
Posted on 6/22/18 at 7:35 am to CP3forMVP
I wouldn't be surprised by that. It fits with the rest of their cheapness... cinder block walls, metal bleachers, the Glad trashbag batters eye, 10 years to finally get some TVs by the concession stands so you didn't have to miss an entire inning of baseball waiting in line.

I have never liked the concrete jungle where the entry into the Lounge and the Hall of Fame is. Also couldn't agree more with the bleachers.

That South Carolina park makes me jealous. I love how they have their outfield. Looks like down the first and third base lines they have "party decks."
then I really like that structure in left field, with the few rows of seats followed by the larger grandstand built higher up. That looks really good, and looks like a fun place to sit.
You look at this park, then look at the Box...LSU needs to take some notes.

While I would love for this to happen, that's not something LSU can just do on their own.
