The rantards also seem to think that there is a way to play about 10 WR's and 5 RB's all at the same time.

What? Now what am I gonna do with the two tight end sets, with Lafell, Randle, Toliver out wide. Trindon in the slot.

With the Wishbone behind Jefferson, with CS, KW and Murphy?

Lets not forget Sheppard....kinda like the old Notre Dame box.

THe way I see it, it gets our best 17 on the field. fricking Miles.

that's some funny (and true) shite right there.

Yeah they are still drawing up plays for a formation that includes JJ, RS, RR, Lafell, TT, CS, KW, SR, RD, TH, and MF all at the same time.

A-11. I think BYU did this in the red zone against Oklahoma. No props from the commentators though.

No one ever confused Saban/Fisher for offensive guru's. It's the defense dummy.

Now go gather those stats.

I love how every comparison has to be about Saban

He's gone. And only got a split championship, FWIW

I figured when I posted this comparison that at least 1 ranter would think it had something to do with Saban.

This is possibly the greatest thread I have ever seen on the Rant. And it couldn't have come at a better time.

I'm not expecting it to. Facts aren't normally well-received on here.

To be fair UF did average 3 more points per game than we did during our title season.

I love this attitude that LSU should win every game 52-9, our first, second and third team defenses should never give up first downs, and that on every play KW, TH, RS and others should touch the ball.

Also, to everyone suggesting that UW is an overall shitty team, please note that their 0-12 record last year was without their Pac-10 freshman of the year QB, and this year he's back with a new coach, one with years of experience in winning. The dude knows what a winning program looks like, and Locker is a winner. LSU could have played better, but UW could be a bowl team this year, and we will look back on this victory more fondly later this season than we do now.

I can certainly hear it now -- LSU could be jockeying for consideration as a BCS at-large, and the ranters will be coming out of the woodworks with "we beat a BCS-conf opponent on the road in week 1, and those guys are going to a bowl...what a great win for LSU!"

Great post. My heavens let's not let the facts get in the way of our ranting. Kind of sounds like the political dialog going on!

This is an urban legend. I checked the facts and the bcs has never award more than one trophy per year.

I was going to come and bump this this morning too. More drastic measures may be needed to get Max and Slow to participate.
