you can tell crowtons plays from miles plays, in other words.
how in the hell would you know who was calling what?

Germans. If the play goes for three yards or less Miles called it; 4 yards or more Crowton called it. Try to keep up manwich. It's a long season.

while i would try to argue with you on this, you have a very valid point.
i don't know who's calling every play.
miles is a enigma.
ran a very wide open offense at oklahoma state.
VERY OPEN...
and crowton has ran a VERY wide open offense wherever he has been.
and somehow we end up with charles scott runs up the middle, and three and outs.
against washinton.
i'm just baffled honestly.
it doesn't make any sense.

how did we end up with two very aggressively minded offensive guys, that run a vanilla/conservative offense?
what are we hiding? and why?

on saturday, it almost bit LSU in the arse.
Really? At what point were the tigers really in danger of losing?

I think its speaks to how capable our talent is in running the schemes

take away the pick 6, and that game is much closer

Last season, maybe you have a leg to stand on with this argument. But that was expected with inexperience at the most important offensive position.
But in which year did we see "vanilla" offense for an entire season?

I'm asking because I'm wondering how people could reasonably develop a concept of "Miles plays" without being privy to the playcalling responsibility from down to down during the games.

you're right, the o-line didn't look that great, and weren't opening up many holes to run through or giving much time for a deep pass play to develope.
hopefully, the o-line gels together sooner rather than later and we can open up the offense a lot more, like the georgia tech game.

Put that on the SEC Rant and I guarantee you will get some colorful explanations.

Take away that pick six, and your bullshite statement holds water.

You do remember we had to score with 1:30 sec left to seal the deal. Cuz if we punt the ball on our last drive, their last drive probably sends it into OT.

we saw it in the latter half of last season, honestly.

I think it's assumed that miles likes the big 10 type michigan offense of 3 yards and a cloud of dust type offense.
however, when he was at oklahoma state, he aired the ball out a LOT.
he had a very open offense, with gundy as his o-coordinator.
now, with crowton as his o-coordonator, who has a background of running creative open offenses, we're running 3 yards and a cloud of dust with 5-10 yard strikes?
It just doesn't make any sense.
hopefully, the playcalling gets better as the season goes on

dude, i'm just saying.
a pick 6 isn't a every-game normal occurence.
