To date, Jordan Jefferson's play has simply been horrific. HORRIFIC.

But sometimes...they are right. 92,000 saw it last night. Millions at home saw it. The media sees it very obviously.

You have to make the change. For the good of the team, please do it.

Nice letter Mike.

Too bad our head coach is too stubborn & too ignorant to listen to the 92,000 fans of which he has little respect for.

Its a good letter, but i think its Gary Crowton, who is responsible for this mess.He has not been effective in developing the QB's.It is quite possible Jarett will also struggle under the center.

With the offense being this bad for this long, it's all on Les Miles in my opinion.

Its just the nature of the man(Les),he is not quick to pull the trigger. It can be a good thing sometimes. But in this case its excruciating.

At some point though, you have to realize it is not working and your stability goal is really creating instability on the team. You could read it on the players' faces that they aren't sure what to think about JJ.

I think this is the crux of the matter. You having been part of a team know how fragile team chemistry can be and how easy it is to lose. NOTHING can destroy a teams chemistry quicker than a quarterback controversy. You know that, I know that and Miles knows that. The casual fan has misinterpeted this as Miles just being too prideful or stubborn to go back on his choice of JJ as the starter. I think however, that it is his desire to avoid a QB controversy at all costs that has kept him from at least trying JL. Like you however, I believe a change can no longer be avoided, the chemistry is already starting to ebb and will die whether he tries JL now or not.

Lsuexpert57,

We're on the same wave length. I agree this is why Miles hasn't made the switch and it's an honorable thing. But I'm also of the view that we're past the point where chemistry goes the other way. We'll see if Les agrees. I have said my peace.

Obviously a good letter, and a corollary that ties in with this worries me. We have competed well and won, but I don't think we can rack up win after win. Sooner or later we are going to lose. Over the years i have watched as success claims many fathers while failure is an orphan. As we lose the finger pointing will start. Tie to that is going to be the inevitable taking of sides with each group resentful of the other. Today we are a team. We will be a team tomorrow, but maybe not as close. Archer's team eventually evolved into that in my opinion.

Lee needs a chance, not a free ride, a legitimate chance to start and play through a series of downs or a half. It might help Jefferson settle down and observe. I am a Miles supporter, but he is hard figure out and defend sometimes. Give this game to Billy Gonzales and Jarrett Lee. Can we do any worse than we are doing tright now? And if we do, that settles one issue at qb.

Man, if there was some type of rep meter here, you'd be sitting on a milli.

That was great.

He sure was when his interceptions kept getting returned for TD's. How soon people forget.
