Nope. It only gets fun in the weeks leading up to big games. I go over there and watch people fight at that time. I love seeing the folks who don't pony up for season tickets and TAF fees go nuts over the folks making money. Love the "real tiger fans wouldn't scalp" and the single mom about to die of a brain tumor who wants to take her only son to his first game threads.

Just trying to poke some fun on a boring Saturday afternoon TigahRag, I know you aren't a problem.

remember the chick the week of the Florida game that claimed someone ripped her off online for tickets for her and her 9 year old kid that was obviously looking to scam someone into giving her tix ..

or how about all the "dads" that wanted to bring their 3 year old sons to their first LSU baseball game the week of the Rice Super Regional ..

Yeah, it just always happens to be the biggest game of the year that they have to take the kid to the first game.

I think my girls are old enough now to be taken to thier frist game this year, but I am trying to decide between McNeese St and ULM. MSU would have been a good one but it is out since it is the season opener. I don't think they are ready for Bama or Ole Miss.

Atlanta is pretty easy to travel to, and the GA Dome is a very nice venue to watch a game. I booked airfare & the Omni hotel, 4 nights, for $1150 on Travelocity.

I'm looking forward to the trip.

I'd like to add that blaming the economy is fricking lame as well

If the economy is popping you in the arse on a personal basis, then I would have to say it is quite legit to make the claim. I would love to go to the game, but I also like feeding my family and keeping the lights on. I am one of those who lost my job at the beginning of the year as a result of this fricking economy, and it is going to take a while to get back to where I once was, if ever. Consequently, I am opting to watch the game on TV.

Did LSU really think that this game was that good of an idea? How could they possibly be making more money than a they would at an opening season home game?

The economy excuse is more geared towards those who request tickets then all of a sudden realize they get the tickets and at an absurd cost per ticket. So they go right to the Ticket Exchange and sell them giving lame excuses like "the economy is a killer, etc." Well, if it is a killer, then why in the hell did you request tickets in the first place? It's not like the economy was fine earlier in the year.

Student tickets in the lowers are the same price as the upper deck...$30...Which tickets you got probably depended on how early you requested and your priority points. I requested in Feb and got lower level seats, didn't pay over $30/ticket.

Looking to sell all 4 of my season football tickets. The tickets were ordered pre-scandal and I feel that I have been cheated by the players and scumbag agents/attorneys. I ordered these tickets believing that the product I was purchasing was free of any blemishes. It appears that is not the case. The tickets were ordered as a 14 year member of the Rams Club at the "Ram" level. I requested the tickets on the southside of the stadium/shaded side of the stadium. The tickets should arrive in mid to late August. Also for sale are 2 tickets to the LSU game in Atlanta. They also should arrive in mid to late August. Accepting best offer for both the season tickets and the LSU tickets. WARNING to potential buyers: THESE TICKETS GET YOU INTO BEAUTIFUL KENAN STADIUM TO WATCH GREEDY COLLEGE AGED FOOTBALL PLAYERS ATTEMPT TO PLAY THE AMERICAN VERSION OF FOOTBALL. ALTHOUGH THE TICKETS COME PRINTED ON SHINY PAPER, ARE BRAND NEW AND ON THE SURFACE APPEAR TO BE FREE OF BLEMISHES, BE WARNED THAT THE PRODUCT YOU WILL BE WATCHING COULD BE JUST THE OPPOSITE!!! (Although there is a hint of sarcasm in this posting, the tickets are indeed for sale. Once the tickets are received in the mail, I can respond to serious buyers the location of the section, row and seat numbers) Please email serious offers only to: Disgruntled UNC Alumnus P.S. I was a staunch supporter of John Bunting and believed in EVERYTHING the man stood for. He was steadfast in his belief that he had the program on the right track. I just wish everyone else saw things the way John Bunting saw them. Location: 50-42 it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests PostingID: 1847301597

Quite true, which is why I didn't. I got laid off in January and have never taken a financial hit like this. Too many places start running the other way when they see you are in your mid 50's. It may be illegal, but it happens anyway. It is going to take a long time to make a comeback financially. However, I have learned to get by on less, and will remember those lessons as I get back on my feet.

I will be home from military leave in Afghanistan for the week of the Alabama game. It would mean the world to me to bring my pastor father undergoing chemotherapy and my newborn child to their first LSU game. Face or below offer please.
