Where would you put Witt weeks? They play the same position unless he moves to the star position

I'm interested to see who comes back, it feels like a season where we left a lot on the table.

We also have some NIL money that would've went to Underwood.

This team could be very good if most of those guys come back and we add just a few players in the portal.

Alternatively, it could be rough next year if most leave.

Pat Peterson didn’t see the field until early Nov

Stingley saw the field right away & was immediately the best corner on the team. Also, the early enrollee signing day allows early incoming freshman the ability to practice with the team for bowl prep. Something that Patrick Peterson didn't have an option of doing.

Maybe he’s just a Maynard fan.

2019 Stinley wasn't better than 2019 Fulton.

By the end of the season he was. Ask UGA.

Teams were rarely even throwing at Fulton in 2019.

Stingley was consistently shadowing the opponents #1 receiver & he made them pay with 6 picks. He was also named first team consensus All American as a true freshmen.

Underrated comment in this thread

Perk, should he come back, I would be using some of the Underwood $$ for him and some other players. Now will the players comeback, that depends I guess person to person but LSU has to be selling development to these guys and showing money from round to round in the draft.

Don’t matter. They don’t seem to know what to do with him either way. That’s 2 DC’s now(both also linebacker guys) and neither look to have a clue what to do with him.

Who's going to throw the ball for LSU? If Nuss is coming back it's not going to be cheap to prevent him from going to the NFL.

I don't agree with some of what you said after this either. Guillory has not been LSU's best DL the past 2 years before injury. That was Wingo and Swinson. Guillory has been decent but a little bit of an underachiever in my opinion. Perkins has also been an underachiever.

They will have just as many holes to fill on the offense as defense with maybe no QB. They need WRs, an OL, and a QB next year. They need at least really good WR1 out of the portal, 2 really good OL, and a QB. Not going to come cheap. This is under the assumption Nuss, Taylor, Campbell, and Jones leave which they probably will. Looking at Nuss draft positions LSU would probably need to give him a millions to stay in a weak QB draft.

Absolutely none. Although he would profit from another year. It is just the LSU way.

Nanny eluded to it on the postgame show last night. Obviously not 100% happening but it might be more realistic than we think.

I wouldn’t doubt if Nuss decides to play another year of college LSU has to up his NIL at or around 2 million. Someone will approach him to transfer.

It will be a learning curve for sure but makes the most sense, long term.

It wouldn’t be completely different than his hybrid role from Game 3 on in 23. They played him a lot like a box safety.

So a bunch of average players coming back and some true freshman means the defense will be nasty?

These are the same idiots that thought this years defense was going to be good with literally the same players minus anyone to play defensive line.
