2019 Stinley wasn't better than 2019 Fulton.

Yes he was... There was a reason other teams went more after Fulton than Stingley. They were scared as Stingley knew how to cover and play the ball, which is why he had some greats int's.

I agree, I think he could be a safety imo and it’ll be less taxing on his body and in certain situation they can go to a 3 man front and blitz him. That’s a conversation they need to have with him early.

Agreed. He’s actually phenomenal in coverage and on certain big 3rd downs let him fly down. He cant put his hands in the dirt and take on an OT one on one. Let him play Troy Palomalu esq

One of the highest graded LBs in coverage last year per PFF.

It was his run defense that was real bad. Every time an olineman got his hands on him he couldn’t shed the block.

It might actually help his draft stock too

Strange how people continued to discuss after you ended the thread with your wisdom.

Per PFF, Stingley was targeted more than Fulton

The same reason we hired a former star Dlineman at LSU. His name is Bod Davis.

I wouldn’t doubt if Nuss decides to play another year of college LSU has to up his NIL at or around 2 million. Someone will approach him to transfer.
Don’t think so. The dad being an NFL coach, has been against kids leaving with as little experience as Nuss has. Im not saying Nuss would listen to him, but until Nuss does leave, I'll say he comes back.

Cmon man
History has shown us that any LSU player with draft status is gone.
None of them are coming back.
That's wrong. When Miles was almost fired, there was a sit doen with a group of guys who all announced they were returning, mostly defensive players. The very next year we had Dave Aranda and the #5 scoring defense in the country.

A lot of this board said the defense was "much improved" with Perkins out.
With that being said, no shot he comes back.
Many said it was "more aligned" because we didn't have to switch guys out to accommodate a spot for him. It got Whit on the field more. However now with Burns gone, Perk can play that position kinda similar to what he did in 2023.

I hate to say it, but it doesn’t matter. He’s just an average SEC player at the moment and may be below average after the knee injury. Some players don’t bounce back 100% after surgery. If he comes back, he wont move the needle for us.

I wouldn’t come back if I was him.
NFL or somewhere that can figure out how to use him.
