Stroud looks really bad. Doesn’t have the horses he had in the WR core last year.

I think OSU is overrated at this point. ND’s defense looks good, but nothing impressive about the offense.

They've held an unstoppable offense to 7 points.

Yeah, Freeman is a great defensive coach… that’s why BK fought to hire him

If CBK were coaching, notre dame would be up by 2 possessions. He left his former team in really good shape.

Kelly recruited all those players and hired Freeman because his vision was to play elite defense with an elite defensive coach. You are seeing the results of that and Ohio State not being Alabama or Georgia that they are playing

And Cincy looked good against an SEC team, without Denbrock

One thing is for sure. There hasnt been many coaches as lucky as Freeman and Day to fall into a top teir job that is still in great postion to win. Most of the time a new coach comes in because the previous coach was fired. Didnt happen at either schools and both coaches took over programs that were rolling. Not hard to build off of or even improve on a healthy winning program.

The coaches that impress me are the ones that turn a shite show into a winner. Not a slight on either of these two coaches but just saying.

I mean, Norte Dame is ranked top 5 for a reason, and it isn’t just the coaching…

Why should we be concerned?? All we need to be concerned about is how OUR team performs tomorrow night and going forward. Frankly I’m not sad to see Ohio St struggle. What’s bad about that?

Why are people toting this Freeman is the best recruiter we have ever seen before crap. They have NIL now dude and in 22 and 21 Notre Dame had Top tier classes both years before he was the head coach. Freeman fell into the perfect storm an got gifted the keys to one of the most storied programs in history that was already building momentum. Freeman is a good coach no doubt about that he definitely knows defense for sure, but calling him the greatest recruiter ever year one in an era where NIL is allowed is a bit of a stretch

I don’t see where ND looks that great. OSU is without their best playmaker. ND offense is pretty pedestrian. I think if this game was played mid season OSU wins by 14+.

You can build your argument however you want.

Last season ND averaged 35 pts and 427 yds per game.

Tonight they have 10 pts and 264 yards.

Maybe they’re missing the offensively minded Brian Kelly?
