I agree. Also, look for cooler, maybe even down right cold temperatures as winter approaches.

There are a lot of sheep here that will mindlessly repeat whatever they read or are told.

No analysis.
No thought.
Just a posting parrot.

I am still not sure. I think we have the talent to win every game. But we could also stumble 3+ times if our offense continues to stagnate.

5-0 heading to Florida is not far-fetched...

We get past MSU, WV and Tennessee (and look good against Tennessee). We play hard at the Swamp, but get beat late, 28-22. We crush McNeese and Auburn and beat the Tide late after being down 21-14 going into the 4th QTR.

We sneak by with ugly wins against Ole Miss and Arkansas and face Florida in a rematch in the SEC-CG. We win that one on one of our favorite neutral fields, and take our 1 loss to the BCS championship.

(All of this, of course, assumes that the QB play goes from a C- to a B or B+ - that's all we need right now).

We have the ability and "want" to be victorious, but Miles will not change. Therefore, what you see (now) is what you get. It's very frustrating when you know we have the talent and players to compete for and actually win Championships (beat Alabama & Florida), but won't due to our Coach being stubborn and hard-headed. Consequently, we will struggle and loose some of the games against Miss State, W. Va., Auburn, Ole Miss, Arkansas, etc. (games we should all win) and almost definitely loose to Alabama and Florida. What needs to happen/change with our offense and is obvious/evident to 87% of LSU fans and almost 100% of the local and national media...... is not clear to Miles. He is bull-headed and hell bent on doing it his way. The only thing that might work is if he is booed in Tiger Stadium. That is the only tool LSU fans have at there disposal. It's clear and obvious what everyone wants. Miles does'nt listen. We are the "owners" and "customers" of the team. Miles works for us. When people boo - its NOT at the players. It is at the Coaches for not taking the guy out (Jefferson) and letting him self destruct. Fans boo the Coaches for not developing player talent. Boo for making poor play calls, decisions, etc. For not utilizing the personel (players) properly. Or not giving someone else (Lee) a chance. Booing is a drastic measure, but may be the only tool available to save our team, season, program from a beligerant Coach who does'nt get it.

Frustrating at times. But I'm still on the 10-2 train. Offense will show marginal and gradual improvement. Defense will keep us in many games and allow us to win most of them.

I think we go to Florida 5-0 and I'm curious to see how Florida comes out after a big game against Alabama. Regardless of the outcome of their game with Alabama, they will come out of it beat up. That could very well help us on October 9th. If we can somehow sneak out a victory in the Swamp, this team's confidence will soar.

I really don't think we can tell this early and after 2 road games. I'll have to see what happens at home, but I like 2 road wins to start the season.

I'm thinking we will lose to Florida and BAMA. Auburn is a possibility, as well as Arkansas and West Virginia.

Please tell me what you've seen out of West Virginia that makes you think they can beat us on our home turf?

I think, barring injuries, that we have a defense that can keep us in any game and that will be remember as being truly special. The defense will only improve as youngsters get more experience. I have a feeling that the passing woes of today, will be a thing of the past by season's end...to an extent anyway. I think this will be a Tiger team akin to 2006 that may not win a championship, but that will be respected at the end of the year and feared. I still think Bama wins the west, but I do not think anyone will want to play us January 1.

This.

I've been saying since day 1 that this team will finish 10-2, just barely get beat out by Bama for the West, and play in a very good bowl game. I still see no reason (even one awful QB performance) to believe otherwise.

that's an awfully specific percentage you used. May i ask how you came up with it?

As opposed to the way of idiots on message boards.

anyone who boos deserves to be punched in the throat. The players on field can't tell the difference between booing them or the coaching staff.

i was thinking the same thing...

I still think we'll end up somewhere between 9-3 and 7-5, depending on how the breaks go....

roller coaster ride! we will beat either bama or florida. probably split arkansas and ole miss also. i say 10-2 or 9-3 but will look much better overall than last year. so much hinges on qb play its hard to tell. i do think i am already excited about next year though.

I have no friggin Idea....

everything depends on the QB!...

If JJ plays the rest of the year...min 3 losses prolly 4

If JL plays the rest of the year....I have no idea

If they both play all year...5 losses (cause it means both are playing horrible)

JJ alone - JJ's limitations cost us 3 or 4 games, we play in Cotton or Peach.

JJ and JLee, with JJ getting better due to competition and viewing the game form the sideline for a while, and JLee getting worked in incrementally, with the hot hand getting most of the action by the time we play FLA - lose 1 or 2 games and contend for SEC title and get a trip to ATL
