From what I've been told, the Tubas have decided to stop doing "Earthquake" before it gets banned so they can bring it back for big games.

They can't ban everything. It's going to get to that point. Administration is going to have to take a different stance; what happens when vulgar lyrics are added to Pregame? Take away the entire band? TV should stop mic'ing up the student section. Problem solved.

We're going Florida, just not the full band. We take 110 to all of the other away games.

Full band went to Florida in 2004 (The Joseph Addai Game as I remember it). The reason they probably don't make that trip regularly is that it's more expensive to bring 7 busses full of students to Gainesville then Auburn. Greater distance typically equals more time which tends to increase costs.

Typically we rotate between Auburn and Ole Miss. The last 3 years have been an exception because of the opening season games and 2009 where we couldn't afford a full band trip after sending a pep band to Washington.
It's also a matter of the band takes up what would be student tickets, so we have to go where there is a big enough block of student tickets for all of us to fit.
And yes it is cheaper to make the shorter trips to Auburn then it is to Florida.
